Looking forward to making some wishes on falling stars after a yummy fried chicken (and mashed potatos & gravy) dinner! First real meal I've had in weeks! Awesome! We're going to plan on getting out there early before sunup, and see what we can see. Already got some chairs out looking over the pond. It'd be cool to get some reflections of meteors too. In all the years I lived in Houston, we didn't get to see the sky much at night because of all the city lights. When I moved back to NE, It was simply awe-inspiring to be able to see the Milky Way and all the stars bright as can be. How was dinner? Sounds good, nothing like a home cooked meal. Dinner was awesome! The meteor shower...well.....hmmph! We saw maybe 5? I think maybe we should have been out there earlier. Got outside about 5:00AM and they were few and far between.
