Also, is that a RAM bolt-on trigger guard? I haven't done anything with the holes yet, I'm going to get some nylon plugs to pop in them for now. The trigger guard is a DIY #2 from Mississippi Arms. shades_of_grey 1,092 Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 On a Saiga 7.62x39, I wouldn't even bother reinstalling the BHO. The rifle doesn't need it, (unlike most Saiga shotguns). Anyway, that's a good-lookin restoration, sartwell. The next step is to install a bullet guide and slightly file your mag release so that you can use standard combloc steel AK mags instead of pricey, (and comparitively fragile), US poly mags.
