I wonder how hard it is for the people in Russia to get factory parts for thier Vepr. Maybe one of the Russian members will chime in. I need to find a Russian penpal. Yes, it does. Guys who install it does themselves. Here some pics Russian company Zenit Co also made their own Al hand-guard for RPK/Vepr. IMHO design is better (no screw bolts in aluminum!). IMHO standard mag well is not bad, on one of my Vepr-12 I do not change it. Both Vepr-12 this plastic and metal mag well.
