Rhodes1968 1,638
I ve read that if the case is made of cedar it will inhibit a dog detecting what ever a dog is trained to trigger on. Ive got one that has a thing for gun oil of all things.

Sim_Player 1,939
That's actually very cool. Not a new idea but, it's still effective, to a degree.

Rhodes1968 1,638
Well not much protection in case of fire so it depends. Kind of like the idea of not having all the eggs in the same basket.
DLT 1,646
Nothing I haven't seen before. He was a master at making combination joints in wood so that parts would interlock in ways that required multiple movements to release.
BpS12 512
Good against opportunist and low level theives, but the more experienced are reasearching this stuff and will pop anything with out a lock.
