DogMan 2,343
I'm flying to Vegas today for the umpteenth time. I'm going mainly for the weather and gambling but other than that I've run out of cool out of the way places and shops to visit. I know about all the machine gun shooting places and that's not for me really, too many tourists I guess. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to go spend some time and money when I get bored with swimming pools and blackjack tables?

Doug Hartley 526
The USPSA Multigun Nationals is there next week at the Desert Sportsman Rifle and Pistol Club. ROs start shooting on Wednesday 4/16 and the regular match starts on Friday 4/18. I'll be there shooting the staff match and then running Stage 1. Drop by and say hello! yakdung 2,926
Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire State Park are couple of suggestions. Also, when I travel to Vegas, I would rent a car and drive down to Laughlin Nevada. It is a slower pace. Watch the speed limits when and if you travel out in the desert. DogMan 2,343
Hey thanks for all the replies. Sorry, with traveling yesterday and indulging today I forgot to check my post. Whoever said "don't go"....sorry, too late. Whoever said "use protection"......sorry, too late...J/K. The rest I may consider, time permitting. As I sat at the bar in the Hard Rock casino drinking a beer, listening to Guns n Roses, and getting a back massage from a young cutie I did suddenly realize that if this trip is going to get any better than this I'm going to have to work at it. God, I love Vegas. Edited April 9, 2014 by DogMan
