DLT 1,646
Looks like the genius is getting ready to make background checks mandatory for all sales. Good luck enforcing that.
Vance665 225
What states don't have background checks? Or are you talking about person to person private sales? Edited October 9, 2015 by Vance665
Heartbreaker 1,085
Supposedly it will only affect unlicensed sellers who sell more than a certain number of guns per year, they would have to get an FFL. No info on what that "certain number" is. So you could still conduct private sales, and most private sellers only do a couple guns per year, if even.
XD45 7,124
Nothing but the next step to registration. Which is pointless to prevent crime but essential for confiscation.
DLT 1,646
Was reading that anyone who sells 50 or more guns per year is what they are thinking. Who the hell other than an ffl sells 50 guns per year? I think they are trying to baffle us with bullshit. Who knows. I was surprised to see during my lunch hour that he isn't getting a warm reception in Oregon. The backlash of the stunt on the day of the incident may have shocked the lefties and maybe they are backing away from a background check for all private sales idea. CNN crew seemed troubled by how much open dislike crowds were showing.
patriot 7,197
I hear a sudden yanking on the Executive choke chain coming. Congress is beginning to realize we've had ENOUGH of this Dictator shit.
RED333 1,025
Well there goes the price of stuff up over the roof again, best firearm sales man of the year.
G O B 3,516
Will this apply to 'fast and furious", Obamma is the only one I know that sells 50 guns without a liscense! ALSO: isn't selling 50 guns a year already a crime without a FFL? (substansial income from).
Vance665 225
Since this appears to effect nothing. Could this just be Obama trying to make his base happy? Anti gun people aren't going to know this is pointless. Obamas support IS slipping.

Anti gun people aren't going to know this is pointless. Obamas support IS slipping. I have some read some political analysis to this effect - dem base is not interested in Hillary or Sanders and some in the dem party are predicting a shitty turnout in 2016, so they are starting to hit on key issues to rally their base and get them interested - making them think there are some pivotal issues to be decided in 2016 can do that, maybe. It certainly won't help the dems if Hillary is facing a criminal probe and their only big players left are Bernie or Warren, two complete shithouse crazy moonbats.

Because I have avoided flipping guns personally due to the whole "making profit" thing, but if the limit is 50 I could actually START doing what they are trying to prevent. I see deals all the time but I don't have an interest in starting a gun shop, I'd love to pick up a little extra cash personally to improve my collection..... Honestly I can't flip guns, because I would keep them all. But Ya'll see what I'm saying. This could backfire big time. Setting a limit also limits the Feds, so hope the number is around 50 or 100 per year.
