30, you suprised me! LOL They do make sling swivels for that stock. I wrapped the last in paracord for a cheek rest and finished the wrap with a loop for a sling mount. Other than that, What ya shell out for the rear sight? I like it over all.

correct would be slant towards the muzzle. but since your adding them, anyway you like.

Personally I like the way it feels holding it. It is engineered well. Nailbomb likes the grip tucked in close also. I would have it farther forward if it were mine. Yeah, with the grip, you are kinda committed to being non-ambidextrous.

On Nailbomb's 12 he's running a Chaos VFG, on one of the Krebs offset adapters with a flashlight. It's offset way out of the way for mag changes.

When you take a close look at the mount, you'll see that wouldn't be good. As for the Recoil pad, Sites say "Sold Separately" but I can't find one.

I might have to buy this off him, it's alittle to SEXY for him. I had to mock it up, had to see! OK, I'm weak, but.... That's the Unit stencils I'm using. It's going on the top cover, down through the selector lever and onto the receiver. Last pic you can see how the ParaCord wrapped to make the sling mount.

Love the Galil magazines, hate the trigger guard flip.

Now the Unit Patch on the receiver. Note- Happy to do this for a fellow 10th Mountain Man. I was in the 10th and still PROUD of it.

Now for the fun and cool part. Adding the personal touch to Joey's rifle. Gastube; I still have some stickys on it I gotta get rid of, but that will happen after it sets up a bit. I painted Matte Black first, then removed and replaced the stencils and shot Matte Tan. I like the way it looks with the Black shadow. Damn camera picks up every piece of dust. LOL

OK, this tread has been dead long enough. UPDATES; Everything has been blasted and cleaned up. I shot the main colors, HK Dark Green and Matte Black. I painted the barreled receiver, top cover, selector lever and scope mount HK Green. I repainted Nailbomb's Handguard, bolt and charging handle knob Matte Black. I didn't see a reason to paint the stock, bipod, mags, PG or scope. They'll all match pretty good. I did wrap the stock in Para Cord over a piece of foam rubber for a cheek rest. I worked the cord through the stock to work as a sling loop on the left side. I swapped the feet on t
