Saigashooter, The first Bump back is great, but it has to have an 8 rounder. It just isn't a saiga 12 without it.

Wolverine, That shotgun would just need to be registered as a pistol if the folded length was between 26" and 30". It would only bea short barreled shotgun if the OAL was under 26" -Ian

I have a black, bulgarian stock that hasn't been drilled for the tang screws so it will fit your s12 tight. I took a small amount of plastic off of the bottom so it would fit my saiga. It won't affect fitting. Comes with stock screws for $30 plus shipping. Also have a romanian romak II laminate thumbhole stock with stock screw. $20 plus shipping. Thanks, Ian

If your looking for a red dot, go with the Kobra or the PK-AS. For magnification I would look at the PSO 1.5-4.5X16. -Ian

I just got my Saiga 12, but i've had the ekp-1s-03m kobra on my ak103k for about six months. It sits low and centered. I'll be getting another for the 12. In another thread you asked about stocks. I can only tell you the way I'm going. I'm 6'2" so I need a good reach but wanted it to look good. Look at the fixed krink stock by FSE. RPBUSA.com has it for $59. Add the bulgarian recoil pad for @ $25 and a dragunov cheekrest from Tantal for $50. The set up looks like the Saiga12k in the photo gallery on this site. This is the set up I'll have on both my 12 and 103k. -Ian

FMJ is illegal for hunting in most , if not all states. I have taken two deer with the 7.62x39. It puts them down just fine. -Ian
