Ive shot it and left my barrel alone for 3 days afterwards without cleaning with no ill effect. I think any longer might start seeing problems.

Its hit or miss with the barrels. If you get a Mercury Hermes unconverted saiga you stand a better chance of getting one with a non stepped barrel (and a 100% chance of getting dimples). Good Luck, and post pics when you finally buy one!

I have chipped my tooth before and it hurt like a son-of-a-bitch. These things usually settle out of court anyway, the idea is you present the offending party with a high $$$ figure and they eventually settle for less. Likely the cafeteria will end up paying the hospital bill and some compensation for pain and suffering. This is a good thing, not the end of America.

Mine have held together thus far. However I did not run them in the rain yet. Considering these things are held together by glue, it would be interesting to see how they run after a South-Idaho rainstorm, or in the North-Idaho snow. Maybe Ill do a test this weekend if time permits.

I don't see how they can refute your review bigsal, I don't think I've ever seen such an in-depth stress test of magazines before. Sometimes it is difficult for people to admit their failings. I think once they sit down and really thing about how they can improve the magazine they will come to a lot of the conclusions I list above.
