  1. My FFL didn't give me the nickname "dirtyharriett" for nothing ya know... LMAO. To answer your question ... YES... we are members of an elite unit of Rambo wannabe, gun worshiping, firing range junkies, weapon lovers to the bone. We are lifelong gun enthusiasts who enjoy watching movies on the couch while practicing mag changes and dry firing with snap caps. We have expertly killed more paper targets than you can imagine. Does this answer your question... lol... dirtharriett Yeah an admitted mall ninja! I love it...lol By the way I am the President Lance Captain Sergeant of an elite s
  2. Dogman, you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But I must humbly say that if what happens is what everyone is saying (including me) as to where this country is heading, then get used to the following statement, "Alms for the poor, Alms for the poor." Because if you are white, then you can't even get a job asking, "Would you like fries with that?" I see it everyday, in every part of my local demographic. The mexican's, the hmongs and the black serve to one another. While the white's, well you already know the rest of that statement.
  3. I am going to buy a precision gun and was wanting to shoot targets/varmints out to 500 yards, but I have no idea what ammunition I should be looking at. I think .308 is over kill for what I want and was looking more toward a .243, .243WSSM, a .270 or the 25-06.
  4. 3/4 drill bit and a 5/8" bolt should do it....lol
  5. Tony, Speaking of remaking stuff......WE NEED GOLF BALL LAUNCHERS.........
  6. You wouldn't happen to be the member of an elite security force somewhere in the states that its true location will never be known, would you?
  7. "Mr. Young.....paging Mr. Young.....please report to this thread....thankyou"....**click**
  8. I don't know how to poll, so feel free to post a reponse as to what you would do. When you are walking through a store/sitting in a classroom (or some type of public gathering)/ or sitting in a restaraunt and you notice that a group of people who are near you for a noticible amount of time are speaking loudly or constantly (to the point of being disrespectful) in another language. You try to ignore it, but it seems that they are talking constantly and so loudly that you cannot ignore it. You start to notice/view that it is disrespectful to your personal space and not to mention it is dis
  9. I love it! I checked that out on Snopes and even though those statements were not made at one time, they were made. By governmental officials no less. I love the fact that there are people who are willing to stand up and publicly announce their stance when it comes to people who live in a country only to reap the benefits, but have no allegiance to that country. I just wish our officials would stnad up and put their balls back where they belong and do the same. Snopes reference.
  10. Thank you, I guess I'll have to call DPH for a reprint.
  11. Thanks for the reply, but why does the grip add a foreign part and not the stock. is it because the stock was foreign to begin with when it was shipped in it's sporterized condition? Nevermind, I answered my own question. Thanks again.
  12. My S12 is converted with a Tapco trigger group. I have the DPH tri rail which is made in the USA, but it is not stamped USA anywhere. My mags are USA made as well. I want to put a CAA stock and pistol grip on it, both of those are made in Isreal, which would add to my foreign parts count. What do I need to change to make it 922 compliant. Piston, operating rod, and/or what else? Thanks guys, Darin
  13. check with CSS, he has Ace in stock according to his site
  14. Then any model would be fine, just make sure it is a 4.0 fuelie. Just a point of consideration though, I used to hate XJ's, but I found mine for $400 and couldn't pass it up. Now I love the thing, of course only after about 300 hours of labor and "some loose pocket change."
  15. That seems kind of high, but if you do the math with todays prices ($600 for the gun, $300 to have it converted, and $250 for the mags) you'll come up with about $1150 assuming you don't get a Vodka special. So $50 extra for a gun in hand that shoots and you have the mags,....is that worth it to you? Would be to me. The only way you can save money over that is either to buy an unconverted one and convert it yourself, or wait until the market cools off and if the Saiga's aren't banned, buy one when the price comes back down.
  16. i disagree with you on the 35 not being able to hold up to anything more than a 31" tire. a lot of guys here in michigan are running 33" with stock d-35s and some are running up to a 35" and not breaking. I should not have posted that as fact, only as experience, sorry. What I should have said is mine with 33's broke on the first trip. In my other expereiences on runs with my club and others, we see at least one broken 35 per trip. Guys with Ford 8.8 like mine or 44's don't break as frequently. In defense of the 35, we wheel in places like Ducey Irshim, Rubicon, Red Rock and
  17. If you go to the Patriot Depot, you can buy that sticker amongst others.
  18. 22, If all you want is to go out and drive it and don't care about lifts and all that stuff, just get a 92 (I think) or newer. I think that was the cutoff year for fuel injection. The only noticable difference body wise is the square headlights on the YJ. Other than that, like I said ealier the suspension is different, but as a driver I don't think you'll notice a difference. Just my .02.
  19. Shit I would love to go. I'll have to check into that-LA is a four hour drive for me. Nevermind, all I have are my S12's, my rifles are AR-15's.
  20. The TJ has rear coils and a four bar trailing design. I think you might have confused it with the XJ Cherokee, which is coiled in the front and leaves in the rear.
  21. I wheel a long armed XJ (cherokee), but four of the rigs I wheel with are TJ's. They are good, I like the cherokee's for the room, other than that I would have got a TJ. The TJ is 97 or newer. Advantages- Great four link suspension front and rear, that works great and is easily upgraded to a long arm. Great ride The 4.0 has great power and reliablity. Parts are everywhere and cheap. Disadvantages- For me there is not enough room in the back. In 97' only there were some reports of oiling problems on the bottom end. I've only seen it once. Until 2003, the steer
