  1. Wouldn't it just be easier to move to a better neighborhood? Seriously, I can't imagine walking around with all that stuff poking me. A pistol and one extra mag is already a pain in the ass for me. If I need to have more firepower close at hand for some reason it seems easy enough to carry it in a nondescript bag. I'm so glad I could be of help. Ha ha, nice. Actually I live in cow town America so to speak, not much to worry about here. I'm about as non-tactical as it get's but the idea occurred to me that I may want things close at hand that a normal inside pocket wouldn't suppor
  2. Those vests are used when you have to carry a lot of loaded mags, water, armor, etc on foot, to get a job done. Nothing more. I use mine for classes. Some people use them to play dress-up. ( And for the nutnfancy project.. ) As for the question... If you need to reload, you reach into the bag slung on your shoulder... the one you just unzipped and pulled the weapon out of. The violin case is a bit of a joke, but if you put a strap on the outside, and some elastic on the inside, you could do the same thing. Most laptop bags have really nice pockets that fit AR/AK mags perfectly. If y
  3. Something like that would be nice for around the house.
  4. True enough. Guy comes in talking about the problems he will fix and then just blames his problems on the problems he was going to fix.
  5. Mags for what, a long gun? You'll stick out carrying one anyway. Just wear a low profile rig under a jacket I guess. It wouldn't have to be for a rifle. Getting a rifle out of a pack and having mags handy would be easier though, as opposed to getting a rifle out and strapping on something that holds your mags. It doesn't even have to be mags really. Could just be a way of carrying stuff that's easier to get to. Maybe even a good way to conceal a pistol if you didn't want the shoulder holster. Is this for everyday wear? I'm not going to carry rifle mags in a rig concealed un
  6. Not saying I do. Not even saying I want this to be specifically for rifle mags. I have seen people train with these sorts of things and I wondered to myself when would they ever actually be wearing something like this? If things can get that bad where someone would needed to have such a vest or jacket then it's likely that you may encounter a situation where you would also want to be discrete while having these items close at hand. How exactly would you be using a rifle and extra mags while carrying a laptop bag or violin case? Seems to me a discreet vest or coat would work better.

  8. Does anybody know of such a thing? A vest or jacket that you can keep mags close and ready to use without walking around sticking out like a sore thumb. Something you could reach inside and get mags or gear from and also reverse it if/when it was needed.
  9. The Barnes TSX bullets are preforming very well out of short barrels.
  10. A friend of mine has one and it's fine. If I was going to get something like it I'd go for a Kel-Tec though.
  11. so the faces mean something? One is a Ninja and the other is the recently deceased Osama Bin Laden.
  12. In the end this will show not only how abusive and useless police are, when it get's right down to it, but how much damage their existence causes amongst society simply from installing a "flinch" into society when faced with trouble. Not only should the "flinch" not exist, but the circumstance that the "flinch" allows would have never taken root if people only realized that they can only help themselves. God be damned, he is not going to bale the flesh out.
  13. I'm really wanting an AR pistol. Especially with the advancements in 223 ammo making it less velocity dependent.
  14. Check out gun-deals.com they have a list of places and you can even calculate shipping.
  15. Sunday bump. Still looking for things and stuff. Maybe a Saiga 7.62x39.
  16. Never doubt for a second how far the "establishment" will go to get on your nerves. Never.
  17. Check out my other post, I have a few things for trade still. Throw a Marlin 60 in with what I have listed.
  18. A motivated involved united society would go a long ways towards making these kids think twice about doing this in the first place. Unfortunately the role of LE in today's society goes a long ways towards getting people to stand up for themselves as a whole in the first place. In my opinion LE is stunting our growth as human beings. Not bashing them, I just think it's the wrong answer for keeping community "safe".
  19. You can burn cedar wood even if it gets wet. The oils protect it from getting water logged. If you get a hot enough fire going with it, which is easy to do as cedar burs hot and fast, any wet wood that you find at that point will work on the existing fire.
  20. Still have mags and ammo Chevyman. I have another listing on here of things up for trade and things I'm looking for.
  21.
