  1. I wonder just how many "chicks with guns" threads we have on this board? They kind of spiral out of control once they get started, don't they? The one on the right needs to come over to my house and sit on my lap for a bit.
  2. Tried that, the chicken got mad. Thanks a bunch, asshole. I sunk like 2 hours of my day looking at ridiculous foodstuffs.
  3. That is awesome, but I WANT GREASE!!! Weave bacon on a cookie sheet mash sausage on bacon weave Place chicken on sausage and roll Beer batter and deep fry Made it up just for you! let me know how it comes out. I am almost positive this has been posted before, but WTH. The chicken and deep frying is an interesting take... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc_37m9spG4
  4. I wanted a beard so badly when I was in high school, up until the day I got to boot camp. Then all of a sudden, bffft! All sorts of thick, brown chin stubble that Uncle Sam wouldn't let me grow for 4 years. My moustache stayed thin and transparent until I left the Navy, whereupon bffft! All of a sudden I got nice and thick dark 'stache hair after the 4 years when the 'stache was all they would let me have. (Moreover, any military or LEO can tell you that much of an authority figure's power is moustache derived. ) Better believe I grew that shit out after that. I didn't shave at all for l
  5. 3) sure, more gasses are added.. and I'm well aware of the greenhouse effect- I don't believe ice ages were made by magic, but in proportion to what is naturally produced by the world it's such a miniscule amount. We cover a small part of the earths land (again, look at the world logically, pull up satilite images, see how insignificant we are next to millions acres of trees- which only is 25% of the earth to begin with- the other 75% also contributes to our atmosphere, and is densely populated relative to surface area by virtue of it's depth. The ocean happens to produce 70% of our oxygen
  6. Can't they just give the Army the green light to start grabbing up AKs from dead insurgents? That doesn't cost the Army a penny!
  7. I also have my 10/22 outfitted with Tech Sights. They take getting used to if you've never used an M-16 (or another rifle with similar peep sights) before, but once you get the hang of it they are wonderful.
  8. Here's what I learned from people who are actually scientists. 1) The greenhouse effect (which I won't explain in detail here, look it up) keeps our planet warm, and the earth goes through warm periods and ice ages depending on how much greenhouse gases there are in the atmosphere. 2) Greenhouse gases, in our current ice age, are trapped within coal, oil, permafrost, etc. 3) The more fossil fuels like coal and oil get burned, the more greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere, thus intensifying the greenhouse effect and raising the global temperature. Raising the global temperatu
  9. I don't get it. Black Friday sales aren't even good. Usually all they do is mark down the cheap, worthless BS products that nobody wanted to buy in the first place. It kind of resembles some kind of violent Aztec festival, actually. No reason, just joyous madness.
  10. Obviously we need to outlaw convenience stores. They get robbed too often.
  11. I was thinking that a faux stainless steel type paint would look great on a Saiga barrel, especially as a compliment to a similarly painted bolt carrier. Go for it!
  12. ...or anywhere from 3 to 5 Saigas for the same price... That, and adjustable stocks with a buttpad are quite nice to have. I wish I would have gotten the T6 stock set for my 10/22; the one I got ended up being a little too short for me. Also, if the guy already had a bunch of M16 mags for whatever reason or was concerned about availability, there's the logic behind the adapter. I get where the OP is coming from (I think quad rails on an AK are a huge waste of money) but some people for whatever reason would actually use a light, laser and red dot all at the same time I guess. Whatever m
  13. http://www.shootingtimes.com/ballistics/ I'm going to guess that the AK will kill the bad guy more than the Thompson. Also consider penetration issues, but I won't help beat that to death.
  14. True. The Thompson was a SMG. The AK is a rifle. It's kind of like comparing a MP5 to a M14.
  15. You're splitting hairs, man. You said it yourself: There you go. Old Springfield was bought by a guy who then made the new Springfield company about 40 years ago. None of this has anything to do with whether the finished product is good or not, which it is, IMO.
  16. Like my buddy told me when I was sweating over what my first gun would be, "Get what you want and be happy." There's absolutely something to be said about trying before you buy, but there's not much to hate about the XD. Much like the Glockaholics will tell you, it just goes bang. That said, I agree with the previous posters who said you were booing the Glock just to be different. I know the teeming masses are usually stupid, but don't bash the gun if you've never even seen one in person. Warning: You have to pick the caliber that works for you. A 9mm is going to kill a bad guy just a
  17. You CAN shoehorn the intrafuse SAW grip on the rifle, (I don't know about the shotty, having never tinkered with one) if you have a short bolt and nut on hand that will fit them. I am not sure how sturdy it would be. The standard AK grip nut and screw will not work with the intrafuse grip, I discovered. You will easily see what I mean if you try. I simply ended up using the excuse to buy a better grip.
  18. So I take it from the latter section that the Mosin Nagant is the ultimate rifle? Nothing bad to say about it! I am bookmarking this.
  19. Pore through the x39 thread. There are plenty in there. My rifle in particular has the T6 stock from the Intrafuse set on it, but converted.
  20. Secksy. That really is some nice wood. Can't wait to get my hands on one of my own!
