  1. I was reading about the difficulty of finding #1 buckshot. I found two old #1 castings and made two #1 buckshot molds for you guys if you are interested. The molds make 20 .300 / 7.62mm pellets and are $30 postage paid. Thanks Rick skiesunlimited@att.net You made molds? Yes he does, I bought the #1 and #00 Buckshoot molds and they look good. I haven't tried them yet so I will let you know how they work when I do. Please do.

  3. Would be nice to be able to use it with any of the three stocks listed above, and making them fold either direction. It might be an improvement to make it not depend on using the PG nut to secure it like the ace internal block. Maybe it could be secured with screws through the unused holes in the sides and bottom from the old FCG and bottom tang, along with the other screw through the top. I don't know how this could be worked in, but maybe some kind of provision for mounting a rear peep site that does not depend on having a rear stock tang.?
  4. It seems like that only the Anti's come up with the idea of making changes perm. Why is that? Why didn't W make the end of the ban permament!?
  5. My vote goes to threading the muzzle, and installing the SE Vortex flash eliminator, and or using a AK74 brake.
  6. Man! The ol' wallet keeps getting tapped out! I hope that you still have one by the time I get my ducks in a row.
  7. The question in my mind concerning running saboted slugs through the S-12 is, could this cause the preasure to become to high, and over work the action?
  8. Well... If you want to use a rifle the short answer would prob be no. They recently started to allow rifle for a special deer season in specified area. Other than that a .22LR rimfire can be used for small game like rabbits, squirrels... It's mostly shotgun only. Have to do more reading, but looks like might be able to hunt coyote with rifle, but I'm not sure. http://www.iowadnr.gov/wildlife/files/hunting.html Edited to add: if a DNR officer sees you walking around with an AK and you are not target practicing on a range, they will likely try to bust you for anything they can come up
  9. Dinzag is the one you should probly be talking to, with it being his equipement... After loosening the tightening screws, and tightening the spreader screw, you should be able to unscrew the TAT from the die. Is the spreader screw going into the opening were the two halves meet to force the die to open up a little?
  10. My vote would be for the current design. If the non toothe design was not available, couldn't those who do not want that feature just remove is with a grinder or something like that?
  11. I keep getting told go XD not XDm. Don't know the reason. I've not used either.
  12. I like bender's idea. That wooden furniture is really nice! Nice rifles!

Cool, a Phantom! Have you fired it in the dark to see how much flash it kills?
  14. I like versatility. I also prefer using a bigger payload when I have a choice.
  15. The Magpul p-mags fit a little tight in some ar15 magwells also.
  16. Some of them are like that. I remember grinding the rear site down flat and then making a relief cut into what was left of the site, from left to right until it was most of the way through. Then used a cold chisle to finish splitting it into so I could remove the pieces.
  17. Does the bag close with the mags standind on end(vertical)? That last pic the mags kind of look like they are too long for the bag to close without laying them over.
  18. Edited due to getting in trouble for the mouth watering comment. That is quite the talent that gal is demonstrating in Havoc's avitar.
  19. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of mag is that in the picture? Is it a Mecgar mag with some sort of extension?
  20. So even if a virgin reciever was papered and then home built originally into a pistol, if changed to a rifle it can not be switched back to pistol. I stand corrected.
  21. This is one of those subjects that has been beat to death over the last few years on arfcom. As far as stripped AR15 recievers go, I've seen more than one letter from the Tech branch stating that a stripped reciever becomes what ever it is first built into regardless of what the reciever has on the side of it. Although this was a couple of years ago. If it's built into a pistol initially, then that is what it has become. And a pistol can be converted into a rifle by attaching a rifle length barrel and then a buttstock. It can be converted back to a pistol at any time. If the recieve
