  1. Mike, Not to be argumentative but I like the Molot mags better. I have have a few Izzy mags that, from the factory, had too short of a rear lug. No matter which gun I tried them in they were sloppy (up/down). All my Molot mags needed a slight (two or three strokes max) mod to the rear lug to to fit the 030 latch or JTE (basically the same). I would rather buy mags that are too tight and I can file to fit perfectly than buy mags that are modified at the factory and end up sloppy in my gun(s). As far as reliability and durability between the two brands, I have not found any difference. Our
  2. You heard right. The difference is in the catch. I standardized everything to the JTE extended catches so that all mags could be modified to one standard length.
  3. And for whatever reason these guns sold at or above the price of legit conversions during the last panic. If it had a Tapco pistol grip stock and a rail on it people went retarded outbidding each other to get it. Sellers would actually write in the descriptions that these were more desirable than other (real) conversions as nothing had been cut or deminished. :-(
  4. You'd be better off buying a SLR-107CR if you want to make AK-104 SBR.
  5. I'll give you one. Shoot me a pm with your address.
  6. Nice! The second picture made me look twice because of the angle. I like it.
  7. Sounds like a problem with your safe, not the S12. ;-)
  8. I'm not a fan of mag fed guns for bird hunting. Just way too much fumble fucking around. A tube gun just makes so much more sense.
  9. Evl made a video... Also, this thread is the tits.
  10. I'll be intrested in seeing the results. My guess is the op rod will peen the rear face very quickly.
  11. I don't have a sig 556r. I do have a slr-107fr. I don't think you can go wrong with the Arsenal. Even if it has canted sights you can send it back and Arsenal will make it right. The sig is a nice gun and will probably treat you well but the arsenal is a classic and a more than proven design.
  12. Yep, no love. Many here have made mags but for whatever reason the 20 gets the cold shoulder. :-( I've had two and they are a lot of fun. Sold one during the panic but I won't part with the other.
  13. I think the biggest factor driving the price down on these is/was the large supply of V12's that hit our shores over the past year and a half. With V12's selling at $950-999 the price of these bastardized Saigas had to drop inorder to make them competitive. When you consider how much extra you'll need to spend to convert these it might not be worth it. Then again, if money is tight these might at least get your foot in the door until you can save for the cost of the conversion.
  14. I don't remember what I paid for mine. But, I do know it was more than that. I want to say that now is the lowest I've seen them price that model. As for future pricing, who knows.
  15. That sucks! Hope you can get it all worked out. Good luck.
  16. ...and Henry Ford sucked up to the Nazis and hated Jews. I didn't know that. But, Fords suck too.
  17. Yeah I still have a few that I like (single six, MKII, and a Mark 77). But, after the shit show I had with them on a Red Label 12 gauge and the Mini 14 I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. The Red Label went in twice because it would either fire both barrels at the same time or it would fire one round and then the safety would flip on under recoil which would basically render the second shot useless. Finally they sent a new gun and that one worked but the barrel rib was loose. They couldn't seem to fix that either. Oh, and the trigger guard would hit my middle finger hard creating one he
  18. I sold a stainless mini for a loss but never looked back. Horrible accuracy with all the ammo it tried. Like must Rugers I've owned, I didn't mind letting them go.
  19. Good for you guys.! It's nice to see some battles won for a change.
  20. I know Molot has them but I have never seen on on a 100 series. the flash hider is from midway usa http://www.midwayusa.com/product/966305/doublestar-saiga-enforcer-muzzle-brake-m22x75-thread-saiga-12-gauge-steel-matte the lenght of the barrel, serioulsy i doesn't know exactly, i just save +/- 10cm after the handguard for reliability issue and for safetly (not for the law, here there is no concrete rules for the weapon length), mark the limit put the barrel out of the receiver, cut and thread it in the machine shop of a good friend. I'm in Belgium, the rules about SBS weapon
