    .223 This past summer 7.62 ammo was scarce locally. In the spring .223 was scarce. I own 2 Saiga .223's,a WASR 10 and a Draco AK pistol in 7.62. If one caliber ammo is scarce, the other is usually available. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

    Can't help you with the parts, but I like same caliber ammo if the shit hits the fan. Grab any box of ammo or magazine, and the weapon will accept it.

    Congrats on the new Saiga. I just picked up my second 223 yesterday.The 10 round mag works fine, you just have to reload more often.
