can anyone tell me the weight of the BS that CSS has to offer?
-
I am converting one of my S12 and wanted a BS. I have read all the threads. I see that they mount by way of the threads on the muzzle end but how do they mount on the other end. Are they just snug fit or is there another way of mounting? thanks

I ran across the company on another site for AK maga and missed all the other mags on sale. MY question is this...do they run ads similar often or is this an isolated ad? I keep looking at the site but nothing else is advertised at low prices. I purchased AK 30 rounders for $7 each and had no problems with them.

I went to a Tru Value store and picked up several for .10 each. there is choices of the head type as well...hex, philips and flat then loctite the puppy in and it will never come loose. Sears or Ace hardware are also possibilities.

Just to add my .02.....when Doug Ford was selling the Saiga 12 parts a number of years ago I ordered a spare bolt from him and was told at the time I got the last one and included was the complete bolt AND an extra bolt head all complete and new, frozen solid with paint and grease. Took days to get seperated and cleaned up but both function perfectly. Since then I have found no one else with spare bolts.

I have had for 3 years and have shot 40 or so rounds thru her. 24" blued, Rifled, Ported, for model 835 Mossberg .12 Ga part#92802. Will shoot 2 3/4" 3" and 3 1/2" slugs bore is brite and shiny and well cleaned and the barrel has 2 rubs about 2" above the securing ring. 1 rub is the size of a pin head and the other is an eighth by a sixteenth inch. I have tryed a dozen photos and all do not show the rubs, I think a touch of blueing would cover up everything. These are not scratches but something rubbed the blue off in storage otherwise the barrel is in new shape. I will sell for $130 shi

In May 1974 off the coast of Cambodia a group of Pirates boarded and took hostage the crew of the US merchantship Mayaguez. President Ford ordered the US Navy and Marines to take control back and rescue the hostages. I was on board the USS Holt shortly after that and picked up a copy of Newsweek and a Zippo lighter from the ships store. Lighter is Brand new and the mag is excellent shape as well. Also is an article about Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church and a nude photo of 17 year old Jean Harlow....boy how publications have changed..... I will take $30 shipped inside the USA Paypal plus

Buy one!!! great gun reliable and easy to convert. I've done both of mine, a 16" and a 20" in under several hrs. Dremel and pliers and as above under a $100 from CSS. read the video's on their site and also Dinzag's site and they have parts too. I've had no malfunctions after conversions with Tapco FCG.

thanks for all the info, I kind of thought that wheel weights were still used as they always have been. I have had these in the shed for at least 18 years so I am pretty sure all are lead. I have melted a couple of hand fulls for weights in other use and just done it over a grill fire. Appreciate the input.

It has been years since I have cast bullets and have ran across a bucket of wheel weights. Back then we would melt wheel weights and make bullets. Today I am told that wheel weights are not used and that wheel weights are of no value. These are at least 20 year old wheel weights. Can someone fill me in on what is the norm. I no longer reload and want to get rid of the lead without moving the bucket more than once. I am able to melt them down into small ingots and remove the steel. Is this going to be worth the work in melting and making ingots or should I just dispose of the lot and carry on
