  1. I have this stock on one of mine, it's fine if you add a rubber gernade launching butt pad to it. No borken capillaries or red marks.
  2. The shorter flechettes are what used to be the most common to find. The where used in a bee hive air burst round. Can't remember if it was cannon or 40mm or what. Point being the longer flechettes that are not so common where used in the shotgun round and stabalize better in the 12 guage than the short flechette. That is one reason the current loading do not preform well.

    Factory Mags

The ones from 44mag are the same ones, but cheaper, with free shipping if you buy enough, and impeccable customer service. I concur with the comments about 44mag. I just received five 5rd mags. Good prices, fast shipping, no nonsense. These mags work as well as the factory 5 rounders
  4. I really like that stock. Did you use the Ace AK stock adaptor and fit it to the FN stock or use the FN Ace adaptor and fit it to the Saiga? Details please, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks
  5. I have a few NFA toys, I have sent three to licensed gunsmiths at diferent time and they shipped them directly back to me without a problem.

    Flechette Ammo

Make sure you have the long flechette's. The short one's are used in beehive rounds and do not stabilize well in a shot gun load.
  7. You are correct, I should have noticed the casehead the first time.
  8. Looks like the .50 Beowulf to me as well. I know at least one AK as built/Convertred to take that round by Mepper.
  9. I love my Saiga12's but there is no way I would buy a Saiga 308 Instead of a FN. Not in the same league in my opion. Not saying I would not own both but if I had only one it would be the FN. It's more money but worth it.
  10. You might be suprised what can be done with and M11 with a good stock and foregrip. It is not a trackdriving percision weapon but. At one of the shots I go to there are 55 gal drums set at about 50 yds. I can consistently nail them with my M11. I get regular hits on GI style pop up targets at about 100 yds. That is with stock sights which are not the best. Good trigger control and short burst go a long way in controlling a high rate of fire weapon such as the M11. That's not to say a mag dump at closer range is not a lot of fun, because it is. Just my 2 cents work on that subject
  11. Tony What is the OAL? Can I order on line or do I need to call?

  13. Cobra has a tree on his property that grows 8-rounders. I've seen it. Nice work Cobra, but I think if you glued a piece of plastic inside, the follower would either jam up on it, or knock it out of place. Sorry..... If you can get the clear plastic the same (or thinner) thickness of the material that was milled out just glue it in the slot, no material will intrude inside where the follower and spring ride.
  14. I use a wood dowel pin in my FNFAL mags, just put in inside the spring. Has always worked fine.
