  1. I didn't see PMC listed on the chart. From my tests, the PMC Slugs and 9 pellet Buck Shot won't fit in the Drum but worked great with the mags.
  2. Damn, I need to check the boards more often so I don't miss deals like this. BTW, has anyone ever encountered issues with shooting birdshot when using a break?
  3. Does the SSAK-47 XRS slidefire work on the Saiga? If so, has anyone tried it and had good results?
  4. Haven't been around for a while so not caught up on the latest talk. Has anyone mentioned producing a 50 round drum? I can't be the only one who wants more than a 20 round drum.
  5. If you were to do a SBR and opted to send it off instead of doing it yourself, who are the top recommended companies?
  6. Damn, that sucks....I just measured (my barrel) and its 19 inches. So, best case would be only an inch off unless I did the option to cut it shorter and weld on the break. This would not be something I attempt though.
  7. If so, how short can it be done and who can do it as well as thread the barrel end? Also, did shortening the barrel length change the reliability?
  8. Yeah, took me by surprise too. From my own notes I have PMC Slugs and Buck Shot to be too long. These work great in the mags though.
  9. Ooops, someone missed the sale not too long ago.
  10. I use Wal-Mart ammo, but only Remington or Federal. What you have described is fairly common for Winchester ammo.
  11. Nice way to put a smile on their faces.
  12. Tighten the spring?!??!?!! I didn't know that was possible. I guess its time to actually read the manual that came with the drum.
  13. Yes and hopefully it would hold 100 rounds. This way I go to the range, shoot the 100 rounds and go home because it is probably all my shoulder could handle at once.
  14. It would be great to have a sticky for ammo reviews. Has anyone tried this RIO (Royal) ammo? If so, did it cycle reliably or not so much?
  15. It took me 30 minutes to scroll through this thread. 28 minutes were spent staring at the avatar for the first reply. Call it luck but so far I am 3 for 3. The 3rd drum was a bit tight and takes 2-3 tries to get set but am sure it will get easier with each use. I wouldn't change anything just yet.
  16. Works great for me!!! In fact, it works so well, I may have to change my username.
  17. Products with the 'bugs' worked out come to those who wait Looks like I will go back in hibernation for a few more months.
  18. Ok, I haven't really been watching the boards much and wondered what the latest status is for the kit to hold the bolt open on the last round. The last I remember there was at least one kit being worked on but never heard if it materialized.
  19. Ordered mine a day or so after so hopefully it arrives within the next day or so as well.
  20. What about wrapping some stainless steel pad around a smaller brush? Would the SS be too harsh?
  21. The usual solvents that work great for cleaning pistol and rifle barrels just don't seem to be cutting it for the shotgun barrel. Not sure if its mostly melted plastic on the barrel but also want to clear the gas plug and system. Is there a specific shotgun solvent? What is a good solvent to get out that plastic?
