I just talked to the website I ordered my akdal Mka 1919 from and it will be shipping from Kentucky in the morning!! Pretty stoked for the first test run and am having trouble with the idea of waiting for aftermarket parts from Chaos and Tromix... I already exchanged emails with Tony about some gas systems mods, but it looks like things are gonna be a little ways out seeing as Im sure he's busy with current s12 work and is currently designing a shorty handguard for the 1919. I'll post results as soon asni get time for a range trip. Big props to all those out there who are already changing

I was wondering what the exterior diameter of the x39 barrel is, I want to put a Krebs gas block sight on and it is described as .786 diameter, 90 degree gas port, will this work withy rifle??

U might try a beryl style picatinny rail that sits over the dust cover, krebs makes a real nice flip up style one that includes a rear ar sight, but it's expensive. I have one on the way and will probly combine it with a dph front sight that clamps to the gas block. I'm hoping it turns out well. Dph also makes an over-the-dustcover style rail that looks pretty solid and I think it's alot cheaper than the krebs.
