Yeap, Video cards will rape your wallet. I had never built a water-cooled anything, so I just went knee deep into it and BAM! There was of course trials and errors, but in the end I have a great machine that I run 3 monitors off of. Just like any hobby, you can get stupid throwing money at them.

Nothing wrong with compaq or hp. Never had a problem with either. I build mine because i can get better parts and build it for far less then what i would pay for a already built machine. Thats just me. Plus i overclock the shit out of my amd (yes water cooled).

I build my own, and haven't bought a pc fully assembled in a long time. I also typically buy busted stuff off of ebay and repair it. I am on Windows 7, but I have to admit, I don't mind windows 10. You really need to decide on what you want to use it for, how long do you want to keep it (upgrade-able and expandable) so on and so forth. Gaming? Photo/Video editing? Web surfing? Then you can make your decision.

Build it and it will shoot.... Just do it.....Decide what YOU want and plan it out. Anyone can just throw money at a rifle....project....but to me, getting the very best deal for good parts is part of the fun.

Build it. They are really like lego pieces. Its fun, you can build it exactly the want. Don't get into a hurry. Shop around. You will have the rifle that you want, and you will know every little detail to it. Thinking the Clinton Whore was going to win, I rushed my M4 (still freak'n fantastic rifle) and when she didn't win, I backed off of my M16A4 build. Now I can take my time. Have fun.

I always prefer stainless and if I were to buy one, it would be stainless. Quite the little hand cannon. I changed the grips to wider, s&w ones. Still have the originals though.

About the only item I have left from my father. We purchased it together when I was 15 years old at Furr's Supermarket in Lubbock, Texas. Have shot probably 4 to 5 boxes thru it and the thing still looks like it did the day we bought it. Will be passed down to my kids as well. BTW...I'm 53 now.
