  1. That breaching handguard is a beaut!
  2. I like the new sketches. I'm assuming the long-barreled version will have the same fold-over cheek rest that the short barreled version has? I like the carrying handle. Is it going to be an AR-15 carrying handle or a proprietary one? Obviously an AR carry handle would make the gun more flexible in terms of kitting it out. Quick question: will the bullpup conversion stock allow for the use of a barrel shroud like the ones Mississippi Auto Arms and other vendors offer? I think that's something that should be considered if it not currently in the cards. Otherwise, I like that ne
  3. Okay, after having inspected the pictures a little closer, here's my two cents. The forward mag holder is not the best idea. If at all possible, I would turn that into some sort of tac light housing like one of those Surefire shotgun forearms. Also, I'm not thrilled with the idea of putting my cheek right on top of the original stamped-metal receiver cover. Other than increasing the cost of the item, is there any reason why a thicker plate couldn't replace the original one? I know bullpups tend to elevate the shooter's eye line (sorry if I'm not using the correct terms here), but
  4. I am DEFINITELY interested in that bullpup! It looks awesome and, as some say, life is too short for ugly guns!
  5. Sounds great. Looking forward to more details, pictures, etc.
  6. That's pretty cool! How much does your choke adapter cost?
  7. A quick question for the experts here: does anyone make a rifled choke for the Saiga-12 and if so, how well does it work? I figure not everyone can afford a rifled barrel conversion, so it would be nice to know if there are alternatives. I know a rifled choke will not be anywhere near as accurate as a fully rifled barrel, but it's all for the sake of discussion.

Kris, Looks like you have a winner there. Do you anticipate the front end remaining metal or will you try to get it made out of some sort of polymer?
  9. A little fitting won't kill anyone. My vote is for keeping the drum design as is.

I like the look of the final design. Very cool. Almost H&K CAWS-like!
  11. I prefer the "sporting" set up of the Saiga-12 (comb stock configuration over the pistol grip configuration), but had a question before I purchased any so-called "high capacity" magazines. If I replace the forearm guard, gas piston, and add a domestically-produced muzzle brake, would using an American-made "high capacity" magazine comply with 922®? I used the Gunwiki template and it comes up legal since the mag counts as three parts, but I wanted to make sure first.
  12. I don't think it's immature or premature to bash a company (in this case ProMag) that has a poor record where quality, performance, and customer service are concerned. ProMag drums, regardless of how cheap they are, will still cost you money... money that you earned (unless you're on welfare).
  13. Looks kind of cool. I'm not a big fan of AR's, though, so I probably won't get one. Now if they made one that looked like a FAL...
  14. My customer's for my business put me where I'am today, without them I would be nowhere. My work/credit/tools/my employee's and my livelihood is useless without customers and loyal returning customers. As I stated motopilot1, I'am still happy with all 3 of my drum's and will support MDarms in the future. No hating here, So you can have you 2 penney's back. I detected no hatred on your part, but feel you were unnecessarily harsh on Mike by saying this decision was a "slap in the face." Companies make decisions based upon the business climate and conditions. So unless you've nev
