Found a sporter, dont like the stocks tho, for $745 here. They have others, the military classic and regular military cost alittle more but look better. They dont have bayonet lugs on em.

I came across one of these, my friend was going to give it to me. Just wanted to know what they are like. Its the original 7.62x45 which I know is bleeding expensive. Has the magazine, bayonet. The bolt moves with relative ease and the barrel looks like it was hardly fired. I love free, so it isnt a bad thing if it end up as a collectible wall hanger. Stock photo not the one he has.

I dont have any plans to get into a firefight any time soon. I have my shotty for home defense, and I would like a bolt action for hunting. Once I start workin again I will definently get a kalashkinov. Iam currently getting stuff packed and in order for moving. I was going to see it....but i'll wait till it comes out on dvd. one thing that urked me about it was the knife throwing, I throw knives alot and do it "sorta" by the books. The hollywood throwing style of holding the knife by the very tip and it rotating 5000000 times in 3 feet gets to me everytime. Other than that i agree with everyone, the older actors do look like an old turd on a bad stretch of road, but hey their all awesome (cept for stone cold, never liked em in any movie).

Nice lookin rifle! I actually found a much cheaper one. Its made by mossberg, the Maverick .308, just the rifle, $247 through cheaperthandirt.com. I think iam goin for it. I wish I had a range setup like yours! around where I live theres maybe 2 places I could go. A small range, and a friends farm lands.
