Not being one who cares for the new safeties being added to 1911s on my latest Kimber I removed the firing pin block and put in a series 70 firing pin to replace the one with the cut outs. Removing the rear sight was the only thing that took any effort to get the system out of the Kimber.

Sadly I'm going to guess that my actions would not be in line with the teachings of Christ. If I have it I'm going to try to keep it. If someone else has something I believe I need bad enough I very well may try to take it. (If it's worth dying for, it very well be worth killing for) not a pretty thought While I believe that in the end I will have to answer for all my actions, the fear of God will come after the fear of whatever is going on at the moment that has me with a gun in hand.

1st would someone please start a SHTF site so there's a central clearing house for the subject. Maybe name it "gas, guns, and groceries for the end of days." My liquor cabinet is bigger and usually better stocked than my gun safe. I figure I'm not going to fight my way out of a major mess (IMHO how anyone survives anything over about a week long will be because of just sheer dumb luck) but if I'm going down that road I'm going relaxed and happy about it all.

Hey Nick glad to hear from you. How was the summer? News sounded like you would have been working your butt off. In as much as the sale of the mags has been slower than hoped for (still ongoing and we're putting some together right now) at this point I don't see talking my boss into putting any more time or money into the project as a possibility. That may or may not change but for now R&D from the business side is at a stop. (someones new metal 8s and 10s should be out and about very soon from what I've been reading, I don't see that helping us but should be good news for S20 owners)

i've been working on some removing the middle section, it works great but doing it butting it together is a pain. Too bad ACE doesn't have a S20 mag coupling clamp.

What I'd do is go with a Glock 40 cal with an aftermarket 9mm conversion barrel. Change out the barrel and the mag and you can go from one caliber to the other for about $125.00 for the barrel plus the cost of the mags. http://www.lonewolfd...ts.aspx?CAT=241

1973 to 1993 and we take our sprinkles pretty damn serious.

Says it's IDPA approved so it should be pretty tight to the body. I tend to go with more in the way of dropped offset holsters and only have a couple of cheap molded ones for “carry” like the $10 Glock one and a Fobus one that’s not too great.

nice work on the star I've had days where those things would turn a good stage to aw crap'po I haven't been keeping up with stuff like rules or maybe where I've been shooting of late is using the Fort Benning 3 gun stuff but the limit of 10 on the shotgun in open is new to me.

I ain't scared of no SHTF stuff cause I'm Batman. In truth, yes I believe there's a big problem, however as a side note I too believe this will be a slow creeping death by a 1,000 cuts and there's no amount of shooting or storage that's going to save you from going down that road. The rich will be fine and devil take the hind most. so might as well enjoy the ride.

Stopping at Class 6 store for rum, crown, vodka, and tequila hope I live through it all.
