  1. Tony did say, "before I took the pic. Swapped it back and shipped it."
  2. Count on my prayers, if that isn't offensive to you or your wife. Best, -Kyrinn
  3. I have a 2.5-5x POSP that I like very much. My two-bits.
  4. If I get back late from the range (usually), I just spray a little WD-40 into the barrel overnight. In the morning, I get my AK cleaning rod and kit and use Hoppe's #9, then follow it with BreakFree CLP. I put Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant Advanced Formula on the rails, hammer-hump, sear, bolt/carrier, and piston, then rub it in with Q-tips or a paper towel, then am liberal with BreakFree CLP on those parts, as well. The Piston gets sooty (South Afrrican surplus ammo.), but wipes off with no effort. The internals never attract more than one Q-tip of soot, and they are still slick
  5. Interesting. What about US-made drag-stocks, presumably, such as the Fiberforce?
  6. Very cool. I likie! +1 on the brake.
  7. Nice bipod. I'll have to keep an eye out for one. Thanks. Best,
  8. Thanks for the info. There's no recoil-loosening issuses or anything else to report mounting the stock-adaptor and tele- on the .308? If not, you bet I'm getting another one (had one on the SLR I traded for the Saiga). It is a great looking weapon. Care to sell some Hi-Caps? Best,
  9. May I ask what tele-stock adaptor that is? Thanks,
  10. Yeah. roughly 10% more. What kind of bi-pod do you have mounted? Thanks for the response. Yeah. I've been using S. African, and it seems solid. I'll have to remember that the Pakistani stuff has gotten one thumbs-up. Thanks.
  11. I think the Duracoating added a bit of extra material to the bolts cuts and needed to be 'thinned'. Thanks for the information.
  12. Hi. I recently traded for a Saiga .308 from a fellow member, and have a few questions of the gurus here. 1). Have any of you needed to file and fit the bolt entry cuts on the receiver? Is this a common issue? 2). If I'm about 3" high at 50 yards will bullet drop bring it closer in-line with dead-on at 100 yards, or ought I still fiddle with the post elevation? Should the RSB be set at roughly 100m for that range (I realise a Metre is roughly 10% greater than a yard)? 3). If I find a metal rear-trunion adaptor for a tele-stock, will the stock function correctly / not break und
  13. Lollygagger, that is a beautiful weapon.
  14. Okies. Best to you -- it is a good deal you are offering.
  15. I don't suppose you are looking for a trade, are you?
  16. Wizard, If you do sell/trade elsewhere, please let us know, yes? Thanks,

BlackJack Buffers: http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?...products_id=180 Don't know if they'll hold up under .308 recoil, but the .223 surely ought to. Best,

  19. Yup. The truth is out: Assassins use Saigas, 'cause they are magazine-fed, gas-piston operated 12 GA. shotguns. I saw it on TV. It must be true. Best, -Kyrinn
  20. Sounds about right. What are you looking to sell, sir?
