  1. Price drop to $75 shipped for all three. Will sale individually for $30 each shipped.
  2. I'm selling my Biolite Camp Stove. Used only on one camping trip, worked great! Just a little on the heavy side for lightweight backpacking (2 lbs). This stove uses a thermoelectric unit to power an impeller fan to burn the fuel (sticks, leaves, grass, whatever you can find) more efficiently for a hotter smokeless flame. It'll boil a cup of water in about 2 minutes. The thermoelectric unit will also charge USB devices like phones or cameras. Great item to have in a bug out bag; works when solar charges won't. I bought this new from Amazon for $129 three weeks ago... get it here for $80 shipped
  3. Up for sale or trade are three SGM 10 rounders for the Vepr 12. Mags have worked great for me, I'm just selling to buy some CSSpecs steel mags. Price is $90 shipped to your door USPS priority with tracking. I accept paypal gift option, message me for other payment arrangements. I'm not sure what trades I'd be interested it, just anything useful at a good deal, maybe an S12/V12 muzzle device in part. SOLD!
  4. Large planes will also likely be a thing of the past once drone swarming becomes viable. Imagine 30 duck-sized jet powered drones surrounding a fighter while they self-destruct simultaneously. Warfare in 50 years is going to be very strange.
  5. I stayed mostly inactive for probably close to two years. It was a combination of work/home/school keeping me busy, a lack of current Saiga/AK projects, and the prominence of political posts whenever I did wander in. I picked up a Vepr 12 a few months back and that's got me back onto this and the vepr dot org forums. I still don't post like I used to and when I do I try to keep it short and sweet... as well as just avoid the most retarded threads completely.
  6. Years after Sandy Hook with no mandatory security plans utilizing at least non-lethal alternatives such as Tasers for teachers/staff is proof that our kid's safety is not a serious concern to our current bout of politicians on either 'side'. I have little doubt that it will proper school security will never happen in my lifetime without some new technology that can appease the cowards out there.
  7. Looks a helluva lot better than Beretta's actual striker fired polymer pistol.
  8. Obviously if the knife comes into play deadly force is the appropriate response. Pepper spray is for an option of force before deadly force is a factor that doesn't involve getting close to the guy with a potential to get shanked... and it will work most of the time even on extremely belligerent and high suspects. If OC spray was weak sauce like a lot of folks talk it out to be it wouldn't be on every LE's belt in this country. Everyone hears stories about the meth'd out crackhead that fought off 5 cops after being sprayed and tazed... you don't hear the stories about the 300 pound 'roided
  9. Typically, a vest designed to stop either bullets or knives does nothing against the other. IIRC though they do have stab vests that can carry a plate. Sorry OP, no experience with them. A regular NIJ rated IIA, II, or IIIA vest is pretty hard to stab through (tried it for myself a few times). Ballistic vest aren't generally rated for stabbing but they will resist stabbing and cutting much better than many think (cut resistance gloves are made with kevlar, afterall). Stab vests are usually used by corrections officers in high risk positions to keep from getting shanked in the

  11. I'm just confused because I can still readily buy 7n6 still yet, though I know stock is limited to what is in country.
  12. Wouldn't this only affect the importation of foreign M855 and not domestically produced ammunition?
  13. How many different magazines have you used? Bad mags are usually more often the culprit than the gun. Also, you said you cleaned and lube it... I would strip off all the lube and run it dry to see how it performs. With handguns and lube usually less is more. If it's neither of those it could be any number of issue with the extractor and spring, ejector, recoil spring tension or out of spec slide/frame... all issues best left to the manufacturer warranty.
  14. I don't see how anyone can stand to stomach half of his videos... Regardless of his skill or knowledge he comes off as a complete tool. MAC puts out the most informative (and condensed) videos and IV8888 has gotten a lot more interesting since they upped their production value. Also don't forget 22Plinkster for some really amazing shots.
  15. 4th ammendment protections only apply to actions taken by the government, not private persons or corporations.
  16. Transformers: Age of Extinction has grossed over a billion to date... doesn't necessarily make it even a good movie. I have the same perception as Spartacus stated a few posts up. It lacked a lot of polish I would have expected and that was enough to distract me from many of the film's better points. I also noted the choppiness but I think it achieved the effect of communicating that there was more to the story than was depicted.
  17. Those grenades require a pin to be pulled, a spoon to detach, deploying a drogue chute mid flight and detonating like an RPG warhead, I would expect at least one of those elements to have been demonstrated.
  18. I came away from the film feeling mostly ambivalent. While I appreciate the sentiment of the movie, it was at least partly if not mostly factually inaccurate to Kyle's book (i.e. Kyle never had a grudge against a named sniper, never had in-battle conversations with his wife on a Thuraya, list go on). I understand that a 'movie' needs 'artistic license' for a story that people can appreciate in less than 2 hours... but it just all seemed disengenuous to me. Other issues also distracted me during the movie... The settings were realistic enough though many of the other props and extras wer
  19. Centerfire Systems has the folders in stock for $899 ( at cash discount, -3%) and free shipping. Unfortunately I had to pay KY sales tax so I didn't come out any better than buying elsewhere.
  20. I don't get on here much these days... and this has hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew beefcake pretty good through this site and the chat. Spent countless late night and early morning hours years back but hadn't really communicated with him in at least a year. Hard to process... I feel for his loved ones and wish them well in their time of grief.
