As promised, here are the photos I said I would post. Apologies for the delay, I've been pretty busy. I am also posting a photo of 20 rounds at about 50 yards, I'm sure it won't impress everyone, but it was done standing, open sights. I'll be doing some shots further out soon and we'll see how it fares.

I bought my 10/63 about a month ago at Dunhams for $449 and have had no issues so far. It is tight with no wobble, and came with two double stack mags. I'm doing a furniture upgrade that should be done tomorrow. I'll post a few photos once I'm done. Yeah it's not as "pretty" as my AR, but it still rocks when I need it to.

Just remember to turn the gun sideways and shoot one handed gangsta style when you go to the range and no one will question why there are gems on your gun. Hahaha!

In October of 2010 I was at one of the local shops looking for a holster for my BG38, browsing the rack of shotguns killing time waiting to get some help, the clerk came over and said "yeah that is nice, but check this out". He came back with the S12 and handed it to me, I asked what it was, his reply was "well it's Saiga 12, basically a 12 gauge AK-47". I checked it out for a few minutes, went home and looked at my collection, deciding what I had that I hadn't fired in 15 years and chose my trade ins...two weeks later I took my S12 home, ordered my conversion parts after browsing here and

My S12 actually cycles Federal bulk well, Winchester/Remington are a no go. I purchased the low brass reliability kit from CSS, I use the puck that came in the kit with the factory gas plug, and stock spring. My gun actually cycles quite poorly using the V Plug, even with the reduced recoil spring. Any advice here would be appreciated. My ports appear to be in good order.

This is a bit off topic, and some may say splitting hairs however...considering all things shotgun related...does anyone know a valid purpose sporting or otherwise for the Taurus Raging Judge XXVIII? ATF approved 28 gauge six shot revolver!

Honestly it is pretty clear to see that the S-12 is the primary target of the study just by looking at the exhibits presented within...we have a page picturing four or five of grandpa's duck guns and at the bottom the S-12 in all its savage glory, then a few pages later a nice close up of the 20 round drum. I certainly do not welcome this as a Saiga owner, however it is clearly obvious that bad times are coming for those of us with S-12's. The best we can probably wish for is an NFA classification requiring us to pay and register rather than a total ban and seizure of our shotguns. One thin

I saw an bone stock S12 at the gun show today 950 bucks...ouch!

I don't shoot 3 gun, but am interested in it, as it looks quite fun! The plinking association idea does have merit. Anyone going to the Pittsburgh Gun Show in Monroeville Sunday, Feb 6th? I will be there, let's get together and see what we can come up with!

Just ran 4 of my 5 mags through the gun, no issues with the magazines!

Thank you for the information, mine is polished but no material has been removed, actually never crossed my mind. I like the look of the mirrored carrier and bolt. Mine may be coming your way.

Update, My mags arrived today! Went together nicely, and seemed to allow the shells to pass through smoothly with no scraping, I will be test firing on Thursday to see if I need to scrape. One word of caution regarding the small screws, don't go ballistic torquing them, I did break one head off. The magazine still fits together tightly though, so I don't foresee it being a problem, since it wasn't at the top or bottom.

I have not had the opportunity to speak with Greg by phone, however when I got my S-12 in October and began looking into the conversion process Greg answered all my questions quickly and clearly via email. A few weeks later when I was ready to purchase my "goodies" I emailed a list of parts for my proposed project to verify compatibility, Greg took a moment to review my list and verify everything would work together. Needless to say a few minutes after receiving his reply, I placed my order. I believe I placed the order on Thursday, that Saturday the mailman showed up with the best purchase

Happy to say...5 AGP 10's are on the way!

I'm using the UTG extended quad on my S12, plus the CSS low brass kit and MD Vplug. Using Winchester bulk from Walmart, I had FTE on every fifth round on setting 5. We tested it yesterday with Federal bulk from Walmart with 100% success on setting 5, the first magazine I cycled was on setting 1 and it was total FTE. I'm going to test again on Thursday, working down the spectrum, and see how close I can get to 1 before FTE occurs.
