That happens to all of us I think! Wish I could scrape together the cash for it -
Me too! Glad I got it then!

I appreciate your input! I would like to know if anybody saw a real is problem with making my own
-
I'm not that interested in the look of set screws, thats why I want mine to kind of look "threaded on" with out all the work ( atleast i don't find it to be work)
-
I'm in the process of designing a "press on" muzzle brake based off of the design of the 74' brakes. It will have a .002" interference fit and will basically slide over the shroud at the of the barrel that way it is minimally evasive to the gun with the possibility to remove if i ever get tired of it. The major part that I have seen that needs removed it the "Mag Stop" with the rifle field striped (any Saiga- just for reference), you can put a mag in the magwell and on front the fatroy mag will touch up against stops to lock it in place. These stops aren't needed so if you remove some it (usually 1/4 of an inch or less) you can still use your factory mag as well as the MSA adapter. The BASTARD is something that i'm interest in and will require the same basic modification. I borrowed this picture from the following link http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/62843-msa-adapter

Looks Good! I can't wait to see the BASTARD in ACTION!
-
When was that production going to begin?
-
yeah it bolts on and takes no modifications to the rifle (or very little) so that is what I'm looking for.
-
I've been kicking around the idea of making my own adapter, it seems that you would have to either grind down the mags or the mag stop so that the mag will fit all the way up and feed the bullets well. That was just my observation but YMMV! Cory

i'm interest in the factory mags as well, and am lacking a source
-
does anyone have a bastard? i've been trying to contact MSA directly and have yet to get any reply. so if you have one can you give your opinion?
-
Good stuff! I'm going to keep your results in mind as I head to store and by ammo. You didn't by chance throw some Wolf down range, did you? (unless that was not the idea of this test)

what are the numbers of that bolt? MX-XX? Thank you!
