Cool I got it apart, lots of penetrating oil and a rubber mallet worked great. Now to thoroughly clean it and apply lube correctly. I'm just not sure how if my previous attempt obviously failed.

I have a 5.45 saiga which I converted. I shot it a bunch a few months ago and I cleaned it with a lot of windex and hoppe's 9 then put hoppe's gun oil in the barrel and chamber and a light amount of lithium grease around the action anywhere moving surfaces met. I had left the gun loaded for the time it was unused so it does have a round in the chamber right now but I treat all guns as if they're loaded anyways. I went to look at it just a bit ago to make sure it wasn't getting rusty and I cannot open the action. I can wiggle the bolt carrier a tiny amount so it looks like the bolt itself i

Although pretty gross that's nothing compared to: -
http://www.rguns.net/gunparts/rifle-parts-AK.shtml It's included with the krinkov kits. That's the only place I've seen.

Isn't it more accurate that to be insane you wouldn't know right and wrong exist at all. If you think something isn't wrong you are still recognizing that right and wrong exist and are not insane. It would be the same as me saying that smoking pot isn't wrong even though it's against the law. That doesn't make me insane. It makes me guilty if I break the law.

would brasso metal polish work similarly to the red/white jewelers rouge?

It's where the importer marking was scratched out because the importer company changed from RAAC to Mercury Hermes. It looks terrible. I got stuck with the same thing.

New Draco in new caliber!!
blowstuffup replied to DavidQ's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
It was said the old dracos were imported as pistols and didn't have modifications done to use american recievers or american barrels and hence were better quality than typical cai rifles. Do we have info on if these new 5.56 dracos and the mini draco are imported in this configuration as the old dracos were? The listing on that site says they're assembled by century international and may contain american parts but it looks like thats just a cut and paste from every other listing. I'd really like one in 5.45mm if they haven't be touched by the drunken monkeys. -
What the best 12 gauge

I'd definitely take this one if I could get it. -

I live in Michigan, a non dd state. I'm really sick of waiting to know if I have to sell this. Thanks atf douches. -
I was looking at videos of people doing ak speed reloads and they seem to just smack the old magazine out. Is this going to hurt my mag catch tabs or catch lever?

Looking for someone to convert my Saiga
blowstuffup replied to johnnyrako's topic in Saiga Rifle Conversions
I'm in Battle Creek, MI. I don't know of any gunsmiths near me who convert these. I've converted 2 of my own which are a 12 gauge and 5.45mm. I basically learned how from a couple sets of youtube videos.
