Hello all, where I live I am only allowed the 10 round promag drum. I sometimes go out of state to shoot; and was wondering if it is possible to remove the block that makes the 12 round a 10 round; or is it a permanent thing? Thanks!!

Hey guys Im still wondering if the promag 10 round drums can easily be converted to 12 rounders for when Im out of state. Or is the 10 round block a permanent thing?

Have you guys tried holding the bolt open with the safety lever? Its MUCH easier to load with the safety then by racking the bolt. All you do is lock the bolt back, insert full magazine, push safety as far up as it will go, then slowly release the bolt. It will go only about a half inch or so, then the safe lever will stop it. To release, simply take it off safe and the bolt will automatically chamber a round and slam home. Once in a while it will stick, but all you have to do is give the gun a nice tap with your hand (anywhere will do, you dont have to hit it any place special) and the a

I really really REALLY doubt there are millions of Saiga owners...Theres probably less then one million S12's in the states period...and iv'e seen many people who have two, three or even four of them all to themselfs...

It is very highly unlikely that it will be classified as DD. For the USAS and street-sweeper; there were only a handful of people who owned them. This is significant for two main reasons. 1) The atf wont be out on a lot of cash, because they only gave away free tax stamps and did free paperwork for just a few guns. If the saiga was DD then that would be a shit ton of man hours they would have to work for free to do all the paper work and superfluous BS for the many thousands of saiga owners. 2) No sane Saiga owner would keep his barrel at 19 inches. Well now we both agree that: yes, he will be able to sell drums still (just like others will be able to sell their Saiga stuff)...Just not as many as before; and maybe one day he (they) wont be able to sell enough to justify production of any more of said product(s)...

I dont understand why he wouldnt be able to sell drums anymore? There would still be thousands of owners out there who will always want to buy more drums/mags for their guns. There wont be any NEW owners out there...but none the less, there is still money to be made...Just not as much...

No offense...But where the hell have you guys been?!?! Iv been hearing about all imports being denied for at least a month.
