  1. Just wanted to share with everyone that I, like many others, have been 110% satisfied with every aspect of my shopping experience at CSS. I've place three orders with them that have all arrived at my door in two days. Unless I'm forced to, I won't give any other vendor my money (already had bad experiences with others). You guys are the best!
  2. Yes you are. BTW, I only read a few lines until I discovered that you've chosen to again distort what I've said. It's clear you're a angry little troll that doesn't deserve another second of my time. Please do yourself a favor and stop straining that little muscle between your ears by reading my posts. You're clearly not capable of seeing past your narrow outlook. In other words, fuck off to pestering some other member. Thanks. hahahahha. You are a big blowhard, and I proved it. Like I said, where is your big talk now about putting your Saiga where your mouth is? If y
  3. I clearly stated that I understand how business works. Did you not read that? Here's a simple question that I believe helps make the simple point I was trying to convey. Would you feel good about a vendor that was selling something of limited quantity/type only to find out later that you were significantly overcharged? This is a yes or no question. No, you clearly stated how you THINK business works, and you're wrong. DEAR STUPID, I WILL SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME, IT'S YOUR OPINION THAT PEOPLE ARE GETTING "SIGNIFICANTLY OVERCHARGED". Vendors are NOT overcharging for these.
  4. But you feel compelled to follow me from thread to thread and rain your immense stupid. We are obviously two different people. You are a negative Nancy with a shitty disposition. The sad thing is, you don't really understand why you're getting upsetting. Which is more than half your problem... I can't help that you don't understand the moral aspects that should be applied to business, insuring repeat/satisfied customers. It's also sad that you can't understand why doing business isn't always about how much you can charge someone for something that's not worth it. Furthermore, it's tragic

  6. OP,. disregard the people that are acting like douche bags. These people have issues. Small penis, no control over their own lives, and aren't even a mod here. But they sure will take the time out to make you feel like shit and yell at you. When all they had to do is say yes, you dun goofed and posted in the incorrect forum. They could have showed you the correct forum. They took the opportunity to act like assholes to a stranger instead of just helping you out. OR, they could have said nothing and just reported this to the mods who then could deal with it. Most people have deep see
  7. Size has little to do with outcome of a fight when you are a trained combatant. Took some MMA classes and there were kids that weighed like 120lbs and could really, really, grapple and submit well.
  8. Well, the news didn't show it, but officers did go around and confiscate guns from people during Katrina. It's very scary. What I would do is plan. You have to work with your neighbors. YOu block off your road and post a sentry. When the cops come and draw down on him you draw down on them. You then tell them to beat it or get shot. It's horrible, but there is no way I'm letting someone take my guns in a Katrina type situation and leave me with nothing to defend my family with. No way. To be honest, I never thought that would have happened and I'm sorta glad it did. Now I know.
  9. I was explaining this elsewhere in regard to the DD aspect of the problem. The BATF has the power to block importation of "non-sporting" shotguns, and it really won't cost them anything to do so. However, having the AG declaring them DDs is another matter. Last time they did this they provided an amnesty period by which owners of the effected guns could register them for free. Not so hard when you're talking about guns that were never big sellers in the first place. But when you start looking at the guns which probably number in the 100s of thousands, you are talking about a lot of pa
  10. You know what sort of help us owners in this situation? There wasn't a huge number of strykers and sweepers that made it in the hands of people. So it was easier to declare them DD's and be done with it. How many S12's have come into this country? TONS. They may...may....stop importing them, but there is not way they will outlaw them and try to collect them. There are just too many out in the wild. At least that is what my pops says and it makes sense.
  11. No. "Unethical business practice" would be to sell an S12, and send the buyer a beat up old Mossberg that someone had been firing gravel through. What these companies are doing is selling their product for the price the market will bear. As another poster mentioned, there is a high demand and a limited supply. Consequently, they can (and should) raise their prices accordingly. Gun dealers are in this business to make money, not as charitable outreaches. If they think people will pay $739 for a gun that was a couple hundred bucks less a month ago, let them try to sell them. If they're
  12. You could set a limit. 1 per customer. It's called being ethical about your business practices. I would have never guessed that someone would think it's okay for a business to fuck their customers simply because other businesses do. I could understand if the vendors are paying more, they should be charging more. But that increase should be closely represented by how much more the vendors are paying. Charging a customer more just because you can is still not a great way to do business. It's already been established that you're ignorant (at best), and this proves it.
  13. This is what makes me pause. They aren't doing a study for no reason. And I said before, NO ONE knows for sure. Not any of us, no one in the industry, NO ONE. The only people who know for sure are the ATF guy(s) who are going to make the decision. Until they do, why bother talk about it? Waste of time.
  14. This. It's called supply and demand. It's a very simple concept. Nothing to get mad about. There is almost no supply, and there is great demand. You have to remember, not everyone out there is as educated about the situation as we are. 90% of people see or hear about the S12, go out looking for one, see that they are sold out everywhere, and that makes them want one even more. They don't do research, they don't find out why they are sold out, they just act like most typical people do. It isn't a bad thing (well, it sorta is), it just is what it is. People here should keep in mind
  15. The Saiga is my most recent splurge. I spend tons of money on toys. I have fired 100 rounds through it which was cheap wallyworld federal pack ammo, since everything I read said it is the most challenging to get to fire. It cycled without any issue at all. I had 1 hangup from the drum, but cycled perfectly from the factory magazine with 100% consistency. I figfured running the cheap stuff through would be a litmus test of sorts. So the consensus seems that teh conversion is better than the polishing angle. Can anyone explain why? Is the MD V plug as goos as it says? What does a twiste
  16. Nice. All of my conversion parts are sitting here. I'm waiting to get my gun back from Cadiz......it's killing me. I'm surrounded by magpul stocks, pistol grips, muzzle breaks, drums, extra mags, rails, everything.....
  17. Well, I would say convert, because it makes the gun so much better, but you simply must work the potential kinks out. Go get yourself some slugs, buck, and some bulkpack. Put a good couple hundred rounds threw it and see how it shoots. After all, why do anything to it if it doesn't shoot consistently. You want it to shoot right first and foremost.
  18. No, no, no, OP. You're suppose to say you just got an S12, even though you KNOW the ATF has banned them and is coming door to door to confiscate them. Plus, you verified that by checking with local gun shops. Plus, you're suppose to ask us why you are getting ejection problems, how to convert the gun, and how to polish the bolt. You're also suppose to inform us that you already tried the search feature and it didn't work. You couldn't find anything! Oh, and you're suppose to be wondering why not all ammo fits in the MD20 drum! Sloppy OP, sloppy.
  19. Look! Future scientists, hard workers, and citizens that make this country stronger! Wonder where they get all the "chedah" from? Don't think it's from hard work.
  20. I hope you're right. For myself, I'm not a panic buyer by nature; I campaigned hard among my firends who wanted to go buy guns when Obama got elected to sit their asses down and hold onto their money. The only other time I ever "panic-bought" was within 1/2 hour of seeing the passage of the AWB of 94', when I raced down to buy a Chinese Dragunov before the price got too stupid, which turned out to be a rather smart thing to do on my part, as the price of the gun had virtually doubled within the month. But instead of dismissing the possibility that there might be a problem here out of han
  21. I wouldn't worry about it to much. I haven't known to many people that paid X amount for any gun and had it worth less than that years later. Guns, even if you hate the idea of them, are a very solid investment on several fronts.
  22. Dude, "what is with this prices". That seemed like one of your main topics. That's the only reason I answered like I did. I also agree that everyone is/was VERY spoiled on the price of an awesome, semi-auto, mag fed shotgun. I mean, just say that out loud. It's so fucking awesome it's crazy.
  23. There are plenty of ATF threads on the issue. You might want to search. People around here are pretty fed up talking about the ATF study since the ruling isn't out yet. I suggest you just search out the threads. Or, you can prepare to be flamed. Hard. Just an FYI......oh, and I'm not usually one of those "use the search Nazi's". You just picked a bad topic to not search....lol
  24. Nice. So, just to be sure, NO shells that are rolled will work in the drum?
  25. There are several factors to consider... 1. the simple fact that prices on....well everything...have gone up. We can argue why, in another thread, until the cows come home, but it's mainly due to the dollar losing value. 2. panic buying with the S12. The ATF buttfucked the stryker and the sweeper, and let's not kid ourselves....it's bad enough news that they are even doing a "study" on these at all. Now, I'm sure some will come to this thread and announce that the stryker and sweeper were different animals, and that is a somewhat plausible argument, and they'll also make up some
