So my machine shop instructor wants me to know by memory what the digital conversion is for every nominal standard inch fraction on the whole damn chart. Is he nuts? Why? It's pretty simple if you remmebere the basics. 3/4= .75, 5/8= .625 1/2=.5,3/8=.375 1/4=.25 1/8= .125, 1/16=.0625, after that just do the simple math
