Yes it is preacher, my piece of shit phone needs bigger buttons. I had passed on it to but after watching it and reading up on the guy, he is an inspiration for his work but the fact he is not like all the others out there like red cross and unicef, he is actually putting his money where his mouth is and fighting the scum over there. Buying the paperback to read when I can.

Question for the AR-15 guys;

Bought before the craziness happened, and I reload. Plus my M&P 15 sport eats steel case easily so I get that at wal-mart when possible and it does come around. -
For those of you with daughters...

My daughter turns 3 in april, I cannot wait in a couple of years too take her out too learn how too shoot. She is a lefty though so all my guns are somewhat lefty friendly or totally ambidextrous. She is going too be a big girl though, tall 6 ft. Plus, blonde hair blue eyes, yea weapons training and martial arts at a young age, maybe kickboxing. Gonna start on moms platinum pink 15-22 , definitely thinking of a M&P 22 pistol or ruger mark 3. My daughter turns 3 in april, I cannot wait in a couple of years too take her out too learn how too shoot. She is a lefty though so all my gun -

How do you make a living?

I am a commercial maintenance tech full time and my wife works at a daycare/ kill zone wish they would let her carry at work. -
That is indeed another topic but a pertinent one. I was bouncing this around with a guy who reloads a bunch (of brass) the other day. It IS doable. I know it can be done but 2 problems arise, the steel generally at the case neck cannot be flared more than once or twice without it splitting, and the berdan primers are very hard to decap without a hydraulic decapper which can be made but it is hit or miss on whether or not it works plus the effort that goes into decapping the spent casing. Can it be done yes, would I want to do it? hell no I will pay the extra for brass that can be us

I will not shoot my ak unless I can find a good deal and replenish what I shoot. All I know is it is accurate enough that I can hit a man sized target fairly easily at 150 yards and thats all it needs to do, I would love to be able to shoot a couple of hundred rounds but with availability and prices headed where they are I will be patient with 3k rounds I have now and keep them just for shtf. I may buy 500 rounds of brass x39 so I can shoot it and reload it.

Granny Thwarts Kings Plans

Awesome!!! would had been a grand slam if she had plugged the guy. I keep telling my grandmother she at least needs to keep a gun at home because she is older and in no way defending herself. The funny thing is she retired from working in a convenience store and was never held up but it was a small town and police were always around. -

It has been a year of funerals for me, 5 to be exact, some family some not. Time heals all wounds my friend, but some wounds take longer to heal than others. The one comfort I have is remember how they lived and what they stood for too truly honor them. Besides this is not the end and we all get to see our passed loved ones again one day. God bless and my sincerest condolences. -

MY local lawmens police supply sold 45 ar's on monday and about the same yesterday, I almost bought an norinco RPK but welched since all my money is tied up in parts and ammo for what I already have. -
I have the guns that I need just organizing parts and ammo. I am going to check a local gun shop later and if they have any ak-47's under 500 bucks then I will probably buy it just to keep as a spare to hand to family should the need ever arise. One thing alot of people are overlooking is definitely parts especially for magazines. My guess is if a ban were to happen that it would be permanent making parts for our hich caps very hard to come by but I am still pretty confident nothing will happen, with guns or caring for the mentally ill in this country. Obama will let it happen again and again

16.8 million background checks
dashowdy replied to 454496's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I was introduced when I was young by my country family, really did not get into them until a couple of years ago when my daughter was born and it has taken off from there and now my whole family owns several firearms and some carry for personal protection. Unfortunately I am the only one who reloads except for my uncle who lives 2 hrs. away. -
It has gotten ridicoulous because of people like our OP here( welcome to the sight and no offense intended). The great thing is once the possibility of a ban dissappears these people will have all of these rifles and nowhere to shoot them or any clue how to work on them or replace parts so they will have to sell them at a loss. I still never thought I would see the day that WASR-10 were going for 650 dollars on some sites. So far the only thing I have bought is magazines, parts, and an M&P 15 sport at lawmens for 575 out the door so I couldn't walk out of there without it at that p
