  1. Moss Pawn shop in Jonesboro, GA has some of both. The mini is $469 and the regular is $429. I believe that is correct, I looked at them a few days ago.
  2. Southern fried rabbit or squirrel make the gravy from the grease as stated before. flour, 50/50/milk water. Hot sourdough biscuits. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM good. Beats sausage or bacon any day.
  3. He was probably afraid the doughnuts would get cold at the station house . I have had similar situations happen in GA . North of a line drawn mid state people are less likely to stop, south of that and there is a better chance they will. I believe the closer you are to large cities people are more afraid.
  4. Kel-Tec must have finally realized after the PLR-16/22 and the SU-16 that an all plastic gun is no good if you want to butt stroke someone in the face. I resemble that remark>, I have an SU-16 Alpha and I bought a Charlie stock to put on it so it would shoot folded. I wouldn't hesitate to smash some one with either stock. I don't think you could hit them hard enough to hurt the weapon. Have you seen the torture test the guy did on you tube did with one? He fired it rapid fire with a 30 rnd mag threw it straight into a stream with Ice in it ( snow was ever where) steam rose for a minute
  5. Give Ray at Moss a call and ask him if he knows anyone closer to you. He is a good guy and does good work on AKs and Saigas.
  6. I need to pick up a decent holster for one of my handguns (no really, I don't have any holsters, conceal or not), then I plan on open carrying as much as I can. I'm still going to get my CCW, because I already did the required classes and they're pretty cheap here at $67 for 5 years...and because the combination of the two allows you to carry in more locations, some locations like colleges you can open carry but not conceal, while other locations, like a vehicle, you have to have a CCW to carry period, conceal or open . Yes, open carry is legal, but without a CCW all weapons in a vehicle must
  7. I won't try to judge if the guy is an idiot or not. I will say he has a set of brass balls. I am not sure I think walking around a urban area with an AK hung over your shoulder though legal is a good idea. Last summer I wore a dual shoulder holster with a XD .45 on one side and a Judge on the other around my small rural home town just to see if anyone would say anything. I have been away for 32 years except to visit my family and farm and rarley went to town. So most people don't know me by sight anymore and a lot don't know me at all. I went into several stores and the local garage and ba

    DONATIONS?

I was wondering the same thing. I made a small donation the second day after I joined (about a month ago) and it doesn't show contributor yet. I plan to donate some more as soon as I can recover some more money. I spent about $600 bucks to business members on this site for parts for my S12 in the first couple of days after I joined. I got the S12 the day before joining. So far counting ammo, parts and the Saiga-12 I have spent about $1700 in the last month. That is why I didn't make a bigger contribution to begin with. I do think it is the best site I am a member of. I was also wondering why

    Vplug

Welcome, I actually only shot mine one shot with the factory plug. It was even set on one and it ejected the low brass Federal #7.5 shot shell and loaded the next round. I can't shoot more than one shot here at the house with out getting in trouble. I have thought about putting the factory plug back in and just see what happens next time I go some where I can shoot.
  11. That really sucks! If they grow up to be Politicians like their parents and are like most Politicians, They should not have these rights or any rights that a natural citizen has and there are several things they should be called and most of them I don't want to say here. We (the people) are letting our country get away from us. I also don't care for the hyphenation. If they are citizens by honest means (not the above) contribute to and not take from Society (carry their own weight, earn money and pay taxes), and don't try to screw with the constitution then they are Americans and I can b

    Vplug

That is what I was wondering if it was okay to do or would that cause damage. I didn't see how it could but thought there might be a possibility of ports clogging . Also it never hurts to ask when you have experts you can ask. I plan to polish my bolt, rails, and hammer face at some time but it will be a while and would like to run it on some cheap ammo until I can. Thanks to everyone for your input.

    Vplug

I'm an "uneducated" tradesman and I've only been shooting for ten years. I had no problem with the directions... Screw it all the way in, back it out to the first (-) symbol (which is setting one) the next dot is setting two, the next dot is setting three, the next dot is setting four and the (+) is setting 5... It's cool though, I'm used to dealing with engineers, I had to show both of my cousins, who are engineers, how to hook up RCA cables to a TV. The yellow plug goes to the yellow socket, the red plug to the red socket and, huh? I wonder where the white plug goes...

    Vplug

My question is what if you turn it more clicks after that? I turned mine one more click (6 Clicks) and it seemed to solve the FTE problem. I didn't have but 5 more rnds to try it with and was asking for info before I went back and tried some more. Thanks,
  15. Your gun is definately over gassed. Have you tried a MD V-Plug to try and reduce the gas flow?

    Vplug

Instructions, I am an engineer I don't need no stinking instructions. Just kidding I am an engineer but yes I did read them, but they could go into more detail. I have numerous firearms and have been shooting for 50 years so I know a little about weapons. I guess I didn't make things clear enough. I understand the concept but if you count the clicks I would be on number six? I screwed it all the way in and backed out 5 clicks, still had FTEs. One more click counter clockwise seemed to help. I ran out of ammo after 5 more rounds. I was wondering if this is acceptable or if it can cause prob
  17. As part of the military (USMC and now USCG) and LE community I think you underestimate how committed most of us are to upholding freedoms like the 2nd Amendment. If a true SHTF scenario came into play and big daddy govt tried to take the citizen's arms there would be a civil war inside the military and the govt. I'm not saying there won't be areas and situations where government tyrany will occur, but I just don't ever see a widespread coordinated effort ever happening. Localized areas (Kalifornia, Mass, New York, etc..) I would expect the government coming after it's people. But never on a n
  18. Do this and as said only take a thread or two at a time. Then use a small file and gently taper the very end of the screw. I have done this for years and it has always worked.
  19. I wish you had called me and let me know I would have been there we could have rode together. Maybe next time. Check you later my friend. it was a last minute type thing. Weather turned out shitty and the saiga was acting up all day. We will shoot someday soon, just gotta re-coop some ammo and get the saiga running again. I understand, lets try and make it soon.

    Vplug

Hi Folks, I am looking for people that have used the Vplug and know what it does. I screwed mine down all the way then to get the weapon to shoot the cheep stuff reliably I had to back it off 6 clicks. Is this common? Will it cause any problems? In case this setting doesn't continue to work can I back off any more? Thanks

  22. Just wanted to let people know not only does CSS have great products, good prices and ships fast. They also have excellent customer service. I contacted them by phone about a mag I ordered that had a problem and two days later got a new one in the mail. Thanks good people at CSS !
  23. As others have stated, You hit it lucky also Mikes doing this kind of thing is hardly ever seen from the business community today. Way to go Mike!
  24. I believe a 20 rnd is about the limit for a drum as far I am concerned. A 10 rnd stick mag is longer than I like. If a 20 or 30 round double stack not much longer than an 8 rnd could be had, that would be something I would have to have. So far I like my five rnd mags best. More ammo is better but there is practical limit when it comes to moving around with one in the weapon.
