Kind of sucks when you have a nice Russian red dot and it won't work in your Vepr-12.. Well, it works on it, just not where you want it. Don't know what to tell ya. Like I said, I was hoping someone had come up with a solution.

I know that this was a topic of discussion early on when the Vepr-12 first got here but was there ever a solution? I have a Kobra red dot on my Vepr and I get FTEs unless I place it as far back on the rail as possible. Unfortunately that is not a very good position and I would prefer it all the way forward. Any ideas?

I believe those are side mount which won't work on the Vepr.

Someone asked so yes, I will sell the lot without the Tapco stock for $75. They pointed out it was redundant if using the ISA.

Alright guys. I took my magwell apart because it was too tight. Sanding fixed that but while I had it off I figured I would replace the mag release. How the heck do you align the spring when re installing this? Tried to get it for over an hour last night and gave up. Thanks

Took it apart and the magazines stick in the magwell out of the gun. Going to try a little sanding.

If it was just a little stiff I would agree but I have to yank the magazines out if they are jammed in far enough to lock. Same thing happens with factory 5 round, Izzy 8 round and SGM 10 round.

Getting my Vepr-12 ready for its first outing and I am noticing that the magwell is very tight. I have to jam the magazines into it to get them to lock and when I push the release they don't drop free. Any ideas on how to loosen it up? Thanks.
