  1. "Nope... I wish I was able to pay the $200 but I live in a Gestapo state... Barrel length is at 16 5/8 .." Jeez, that sucks...... Really nice, though......overall !! Great looking gun !!
  2. ..........and, of course, adding to that cost the $200 tax stamp for an SBR from that pesky BATF, right ??
  3. It's become more and more apparent over time that there is a real problem in our midst....... There's a core group here on the Forum that seems to be extremely frustrated that they can't get the majority of our members to agree with their line of thought. They use the terms "herd" and "hive" regarding the majority of the members here as a result of their apparent inability to bring us to their line of thought. I truly hate it that they feel suppressed in their efforts to "educate" the rest of us to more enlightened approaches to all aspects of life. Gladly, there are far more of us than o
  4. I went with the TROMIX 10" !!! I couldn't be happier with it !! Not sure I'd call it more "useful" than the 8", but it does move that fireball 2" further off the end of your nose....... !! (......I still have that TROMIX S06 tucked back in the safe somewhere, and it may well turn into an 8" at some point in the future....., just because.........)
  5. Congrats on making the list !! Believe me, Coondog.....it's not hype about TROMIX !! When you're holding your TROMIX gun in your hands, you'll know what I mean !!
  6. Absolutely, look at the little circle of hate that has formed here as a hit team for anyone that does not embrace their agenda. The names of these trolls can be found in the Negative 1s they leave behind in threads where they are not even part of the debate. If you really want to create a harmonious board consider kicking these trolls to the curb. They are a very small vocal minority and add noting of merit. Many have already been banned on other gun boards. Truer words were never spoken.......... This Forum is not the same today as a result of this minority troll/asshole bullshit...
  7. Personally, I just can't pull for Pissburg......... Lived many years in Wisconsin, and just have to pull for the Pack !!
  8. Bo, .........as much as you like it right now......., believe me, it'll continue to grow on you !! Nothing finer than a TROMIX gun !! Enjoy !!

    10" sbs

Want a 10" that will run everything flawlessly every time ?? Total reliability ?? 1) TROMIX 2) RED JACKET (...........both move the gas block for a 10" gun.....) The pic is my TROMIX 10" SBS, and it runs everything I feed it, flawlessly, every time........
  10. How does that shark brake do for the draco's enormous fireball? haha I still have all the hair on my left hand.................
  11. Plain Jane, with a little bit of TROMIX bling....... a Rifle Shark Brake and an oversized Charging Handle........ Finally dug up a proper sling for it, too..........but it's not shown in pic......
  12. ..........bought a Korean 75-round wind-up about 2 weeks ago..........works great !!
  13. TROMIX is absolutely top notch !! There is no higher quality than a TROMIX conversion available, anywhere........... (I've known Bob for years now, and I've never heard him sing.......)
  14. Carried everything at one point in time or another, and finally arrived at the Walther PPS in .40 S&W...... Thinnest, lightest carry pistol I've ever encountered, and comfortable to carry all the time......... Pricey, but you get what you pay for............. It's become my dedicated carry pistol......... Edited to add: The PPS in either 9mm or .40 is the same size and approximate weight....
  15. Tony has built guns (moved gas block back) that retained the factory handguard.......This is a 10" !!
  16. The VM-1 works great.............
  17. All my Saigas have TROMIX stocks........ Top notch and rock solid !!
  18. Yes, you should post this on Bayoushooter.com!!! There are a lot of really great guys on there from the various agencies in and around New Orleans, and you could likely get some good info........ DancingBear on this forum is a regular on Bayoushooter, as well....... Did you drop him a PM ??
  19. Elvis, Round up all of your purchase receipts, including the serial number for the handgun and head back down to NOPD. When you get there, ask to see the watch commander and explain the situation. Also, ask for a copy of the arrest report and see if the watch commander is able to pull up the original dispatch tapes for the responding officers. Every incoming call and dispatched call is recorded and saved. The officer most likely ran the gun with their dispatch to check it for stolen status while they were checking and verifying your permits and such. If this is on the audio tapes, then you
  20. "And even if they do hold 9, it sounds like you'd be overcompressing the spring leading to premature wear/failure." I'm five years in with my Izzy 8's...... and they stay fully loaded at all times with 9 rounds. I've experienced no loss of function whatsoever, as to an overcompressed spring problem. Of course, YMMV.
  21. There's not much you can do about the fireball out of a 12" barrel, although the brake does diffuse it more to the sides and upward than to the front........ Reduction in barrel rise and recoil with the TROMIX brake is significantly reduced !!
  22. Thanks, Gary !! (Now if it just had the TROMIX SRT trigger..........)
  23. I've got 3 of the 8 round mags and none of them hold 9 rounds. Have you modified the magazine in any way to increase capacity? Nope.......No modification at all to the mags. Both of my Izzy 8's hold 9 rounds, for whatever reason...... I've had them for about 5 years, so maybe the newer ones only will hold 8 ???
  24. Looks nice Jeaux, did you get the Draco with the wood looking that nice or did you refinish it?? It came with the wood just as you see it.......... Got to work it a little yet.....Feels rough, like it's unsanded......I can fix that, though. I'll keep it looking the same.........
