  1. Only squib I've had was Winchester White Box bulk pack in 9mm, two in one 100 round box. I don't shoot WWB any more.
  2. I was under the impression that to own anything NFA in Missouri, you had to hold an FFL - that any kind would do, even a C&R. Not since 2011 http://www.house.mo.gov/content.aspx?info=/bills111/bilsum/truly/sHB294T.htm (4) Allows a person to possess, manufacture, transport, repair, or sell a machine gun, short barreled rifle or shotgun, or firearm silencer if he or she conforms with federal law. A person will not commit a crime if he or she possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells an explosive weapon; an explosive, incendiary, or poisonous substance or material; a gas gun;
  3. Too bad Missouri isn't in for your consideration. We have probably THE best Castle Doctrine around, shall issue CCW, as far as NFA from what I see the only thing you can't have is Destructive Devices. If you stay the hell away from east and north St. Louis you're pretty well good to go. I live south of the city and hunt and shoot in the southern part of the state.
  4. I just bought a H&R protector pump shotgun, like new, 40 rounds through it for $150. Ordered a case of BBB 2 3/4" for $99 shipped...
  5. Ditto. I live on a very limited income and I have plenty, if you didnt stock up over the last two years that's your own fault. Give it a month and it'll be back down.
  6. I'm glad I get myself set well before this crap even started, although I could use some more 7.62x54r... I want to see this guys shit their drawers if a AWB never happens and their stuck with all the AR's they bought as "investments"...maybe they can make their money back in five or six years,.
  7. I have pictures and descriptions of all my firearms along with scans of the receipts from when I bought them, but not for that purpose, mine are in case some dirtbag manages to get into my house and past my six dogs, cuts open my gun cabinet and makes off with the contents. I have a printed copy plus a saved one in my email so that I can access it in case they steal my computer and file cabinet as well.
  8. Been contemplating tossing my converted x39 on Armslist and see if I could get a decent SKS and 12 gauge shotty for it. Got offered a Mossberg 500 and a Colt Cobra .37 for it but passed.
  9. I got the kit from CSS that had the correct x39 guard but still have my original one floating around, if I'd known it would have been so easy to reuse the stock one I wouldn't have bought the kit one but live and learn.
  10. Theres still some out there but I don't want to post any non-sponsor sites, hate to get banned...
  11. Nope, still a Brit. Also one of those involved with the phone hacking over there some time back.
  12. I do have a GZ-MAB in .32 that I really should get a firing pin for...no point in having a gun around that don't work...
  13. Y'all are late to the parade. I'm set, have been for months but will be picking up more .22LR just for the heck of it.
  14. Much better to just do it all, it makes a hell of a difference in the trigger. Make sure you save all your parts in case the libs manage to do a ban with no grandfathering...
  15. I quit using WWB after getting two rounds of 9mm with no powder in them, got tired of knocking bullets out of my bore. I stared checking OAL on various calibers of theirs and they were all over the place, plus I can buy other manufacturers cheaper in pretty much every caliber I own.
  16. With the Heller and DC decisions already in place in SCOTUS it'd be unlikely that they would even hear it. With His High Holy Imperial Commander Quinn in place, one can surely count on it being may issue in order for the Liberal-controlled counties to keep as many people as possible from being able to defend themselves. If they try over-pricing the permits it'll just bring a shit-storm of suits against the state since there are so many references available as to what other states charge...but that doesn't mean they won't attempt it. It's just a shame that the good people of the state suffer at
  17. I bought my unconverted 16" barreled one from Classic just before they disappeared and feel lucky to have snagged it. That being said, they shipped it fast and I have NO complaints regarding it or my experience with Classic. This was the first "Non-C&R" firearm that I had purchased through them so was hoping that I would get the same great treatment that I had for my Mosin purchases and wasn't disappointed. Have heard that their phone manners need some polishing but I have always ordered online so no experience there.
  18. Bullet guide, steel mags or Tapco poly for the AK, loads cheaper than the Saiga specific mags. I shoot mostly Tulammo for targets but fell into a deal on some Russian HP rounds but havent' shot any of those yet. Use Herter SP rounds for hunting.
  19. I use a small tap handle like this one, otherwise you risk uneven pressure and snapping the tap, it's difficult enough without using the wrong equipment. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-HANSON-Irwin-T-Handle-Tap-Wrench-For-Sizes-0-1-4-Adjustable-12001ZR-NIP-/140893823947?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20cded23cb
  20. The Saiga mag just needed a bit of relief on the front "tit" to clear the bullet guide on mine.
  21. My Saiga mag only has a small amount of movement, doesn't affect its performance at all. I generally use it when shooting off the bench at my buddy's place, plus we're limited to a max of ten round magazines while hunting here in Missouri.
