I've ran into this with all the services. I use USPS priority a LOT for my sales if they're of multiple tools, no problems and been shipping with them for years. On the other hand, I refuse to use Fedex. I just picked up some Russian surplus 30 rounders from AIM for $9.99 each, like brand new, shipping for three was like $13, will be buying more soon!

Guess I overlooked my certificate in the joy of my rifle arriving...says 137mm. Probably better than these old eyes can do with iron sights.

I bought mine from Classic a little over a week ago. Lucked out, got the military version with dimples and a threaded barrel. Can't complain, FFL had it in three days. $319 plus shipping.

I bought the Tapco T-6 conversion kit from Carolina Shooters for $157.05 shipped, with an upgrade to the MD Arms MOLOT PG and a round trunnion bullet guide. Intrafuse handguard off Amazon for $49.03. Three 30 round surplus mags from AIM for $43.79. Haven't picked up a MB yet or gas piston. Are there more parts I need or do I just need to buy more expensive stuff?

Here's my brand new one, recorded for posterity as it won't look like this for long! I have the Carolina Shooters Tapco conversion kit sitting here under the desk, a box full of 30 round AK mags just arrived from AIM surplus, the Tapco handguard and gas piston should be here around Monday, the Barska scope and mount are here as well. We go out on Saturday for initial breakin to make sure she's fully functional before making any changes.
