  1. Hey, I was just jokin' yer gonna get me in trouble with the wife!
  2. Neighbors give you any flack about it? One was real curious but didn't have the guts to ask me. I kinda keep to myself and am kinda confrontational. She got my next door neighbor to ask me one evening when they were sitting on the front porch. I just told them it's in my ancestry and I'm an American first. "Ancestry" :lolol: Dude, YOU ROCK!!!
  3. Bvamp, All I can say is that as a Veteran, You honor me with your "spirited" patriotism. Thanks ~edit, Thanks to the rest of you as well, don't want to forget anyone!
  4. believe me when I tell you that I am on the same page as you are. I hope NONE of my previous statements are viewed as support the sickening actions seen it this thread. I think I refer to poetry any lyrics to express things I cannot verbalize myself. If you ax it, I respectfully request that we leave ragged old flag in it's place.
  5. This one is for you B! Do you recall way back in eighty nine Watching those hippies and these vile swines Burning our flag like 'cause they didn't care But that to us it wasn't fair There they stood they stared with no chance 'Cause we were there bats in hand The time was right, the time to fight The time to attack with all our might Don't you burn our flags, these colors will not run Don't you burn our flags our colors will never run We fought to win, we fought to defeat Laid out bodies is all we could see You could hear the cries, you could smell the blood Don't worry
  6. Too many people confuse freedom of speech for a right to be heard. Wrong. You can say whatever you what but I don't have to listen. Your right to speak ends where my right to walk away begins. And there is no speech involved in burning the flag. You're burning everything America stands for and it just irritates me to no end. Sorry, it's just really a sore point with me. You KNOW we are on the same page with that one. I signed up and was willing to give my life for all Americans regardless of their beliefs. I just wish "they" would respect in what I believe in as much as I try to
  7. "It's the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It's the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It's the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." I'M A VETERAN I stood up, I showed up, I stepped forward, I raised my right hand, I stood in the gap, I walked in the fire. I
  8. ARRRGH! when I grow up I want to be a pirate!!! Thats pretty cool! Neighbors give you any flack about it?
  9. I support free speech 100%, however I feel that directing anger towards the troops is completely misguided and flat out wrong.
  10. Fuck ......the troops? FUCK THE TROOPS???!!! There are no words that can describe the cold rage I'm feeling right now.
  11. (J.D. Pendry is a retired Army Command Sergeant Major who writes for Random House. HE IS QUITE ELOQUENT and he seldom beats around the bush!!!) Jimmy Carter, you're the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the runner-in-chief. Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed respon
  12. Personally, I love the whole idea. It's like beating someone to death with the arm they tore from your body! OOH-RAH!!!
  13. I'm gonna sleep for a whole day now! Let this stand as Proof (in my opinion) that prayer works! All is well that ends well. You guys ARE my family, I am glad beyond words that it has all been worked through. Man, sniff, I Love you guys!
  14. USS New York It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center. It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft. Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite, LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept. 9, 2003, "those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence," recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who
