Just got back not long ago and found some items I no longer need. 6 G36 30 round factory mags (marked law enforcement only) A factory G36 Mag well and a PG/folding stock that I purchased from black market parts for a SL8-6 to G36 conversion that never happened. Not sure if this will help but I found that people have been having good luck using RIT dye. I found some info on arf.com about a guy who used this to recolor the wood on his WASR 10.

Welcome to the club! I don't know the going price but I picked up some wolf 3" (Max Dram EQ 11/16 7 1/2 shot 1135 FPS) a while back from Ammunitionstore.com for a good price and it works well. Don't forget that you can also use the 2 3/4 steel hull shells as well. Enjoy your new Saiga!

Cobra, Just a heads up. I spoke to Tapco about the plastic hinge a few months ago and the told me that they replaced it with a metal one, however I have not put eyes on to verify the claim. If anyone just has to have one I would call them before ordering just to make sure.

Yup, right at the minimum parts count now. I'd like to install a US made forward handguard to help but I've placed the russian mags in the original box. AGPs will be all that I use. Get a Tapco galil handguard with the s12 bracket forom tony rumore and you'll be OK. This is my first Import that I am trying to modify. In the past I didn't pay much attention to that part.
