  1. I have one on mine and like it. To me it doesn't scream AR and looks fine to me. I switched from an MFT Engage to the Magpul AK grip. The main thing I like about it is how it curves back before it connects to the receiver. So your hand doesn't make as much contact with the flat receiver, and instead on the curve of the grip. More ergonomic and what not... = ]
  2. I like mine. A stiff safety on AK's is almost as common as canted sights. A quick bend and it is gtg.
  3. I went with Eotech XPS 2-0. It gets a lot of love in other parts of the world on many Vepr 12's, and to me Eotech's just seem made for shotguns. I use a Magpul stock with a 3/4" riser to get a good cheek weld. Couldn't be happier with it. I do agree the T-1 is as good as it gets. I have one on another weapon platform. But wanted to try something different, and like previously stated, Eotech's and shotguns go together very nicely.
  4. You just described my dream shotgun, especially with the Molot folding AR adapter. The adapter is very pricey and I heard lots of swear words well be yelled during installation. Would be great if Legion would offer a model with adapter already installed. The only thing I'm on the fence about is which brake. Legion said they could place a different brake on it per customers request. Considering folding stock, and welded on brake for shorter barrel, seems off to me to use a GK-01. While its performance is undeniable, I think I would prefer a firestorm or even a Russian flash-hider to keep
  5. So you take off Eotech and it runs fine? Sounds like you have too many variables... Try to remove as many as possible. Obviously you cannot undo the rail and the barrel. Everything else should be returned to factory and ditch any optic for now to help narrow down issue/issues. Is your only problem Win bulk? If it feeds Fed bulk fine then who cares? I don't even know if mine runs Win bulk. Don't care to find out either. Fed bulk imo is > then Win bulk...
  6. Eotech's are very popular in Russia and Europe on Vepr 12's. I would be surprised and disheartened to hear it causing issues mounted as far back as it can, especially an XPS series.
  7. Which model eotech? Also assuming you have mounted as far back as it can go? And you take off eotech and it runs fine?
  8. First time is the hardest. I just use an adjustable wrench and gloves...
  9. I don't get it?... I have thought about it, but after some concerns with different diameters of Siaga 12 barrel and Vepr 12 barrel, I would like to further research if possible. I wish some companies would shed more light into their R&D and testing. I even purchased a 2 round magazine to shoot skeet with my Vepr 12. A modified choke with a brake would be the tits...
  10. And knowing is half the battle... Thanks for knowledge dump PapaZorro
  11. The prodigal son returns!!! Not to sound like a dick rider, but very excited you have returned, as your 2 cents is normally worth a dollar more then others...
  12. I went back and read quote again from PappaZorro. Apparently there maybe only a problem with running flashiders and chokes. Brakes should be ok since most usually have a larger diameter then the barrel. The possible safety concern is that internal barrel diameter of Vepr 12 barrel is 18.5mm and Saiga 12 is 18.3mm, so at the end of the barrel where flashider/ choke is, could be a 100 micron high step. Idk.. food for thought...
