  1. I will say that at .23 each for cheap birdshot I have considered making a cheap mold and turning them into some form of slug just for poking holes in (big) paper
  2. What would they gain by invading us? Would the bloodshed be worth it? Risk of a mass counterstrike? I would fight for sure, I want my children to see a world worth living in. And I'm sure our country would make a major strike on the motherland. Shoot for all we know that's why we are still in Afghanistan and Iraq? Super FOB
  3. I was gonna say, I've got one, nothing wrong with my mag but I might use it as an opportunity to add a 922r part to my mag by making my own US floor plate might be many others who have already done this
  4. Sorry, missed it last go around, I'm gonna pass. I figured package deal could save a little more as its only one package, one trip to ship, blah blah. The gun I was gonna put it on came with a much better stock then I expected too
  5. I also have cash, or other ammo to trade towards something nice like a long barrel s12 An s410 Have lesser amount of .22 for a chipmunk or other youth bolt single shot. NAA .22lr/.22mag mini revolver. Good progressive loading setup For trade upgrade i Have a maverick 28" /20"x8rd combo, hunting by day home defense by night. 8mm corrosive ammo and 8mm domestic hunting ammo A 10/22 all stock cheapie model.
  6. It's just a shot in the dark, looking to trade for a bolt action .223/5.56 or something in x39 Parts, good optics, .224 lead Face to face on central oregon coast/ lane county oregon. These are my backup supply, 1400 rd buckets topped off with 525 bulk packs to fill the buckets Well it uploaded before I finished it and can't update the title, sorry about that for anyone not in oregon. If a mod happens to see this, would love for the title to be "Oregon only, 1925/3850 .22lr remington gold bullet, trade for firearm 5.56 or x39
  7. Wish California would figure that out. My uncle maintains property for a guy and wild hogs live on his property. Tag and license required to take. I don't even know if catching them in the act of destroying ornamental is good cause to take one without a tag. I so wanted to go help remove them, but not gonna pay non resident tags. Gave that state over 20yrs of my life, that's all they get!
  8. My s12 is my go to gun right now, most of my shells I paid and can currently get for .22 cents per round and is good at putting food on the table.
  9. Sounds like a good opportunity for a class action lawsuit? Hundreds of thousands of people filing a lawsuit against the ATF. Would it be possible?
  10. You don't need a butcher for a chicken! I hear for grouse you really don't need a butcher, supposedly if you pull on their legs just right their breast meat pops right out
  11. Something like that yes. As far as legally sticking that 30 round mag in a gun, it needs to be compliant. A us hand guard, and a modified FCG would work, but nobody makes a 922r "saiga" trigger pack, but shouldn't be too hard to cut the trigger off a tapco FCG and then make your own trigger. To be safe you could swap the piston out as well. Lots of work, I've though about hacking up a few FCG to make sporting sets, but its a slim market. Like Cali. And all semi auto shotties must have bullet button in Cali
  12. https://home.comcast.net/~navy87guy/home/922r.html Has parts that are included! It's about removing foreign parts not adding USA parts! Explains what makes your weapon "not for sporting". Most around here try not to use the salty word! All my sporting weapons use USA high cap mags and hammers, my shotty has a USA puck as well. Feel like I am thread jacking bad as I'm not sure about the OP's topic
  13. Bullet guide is not parts if the counts! Search harder! Find a 922r parts list! And federal law adding high cap DOES make it a "non sporting" weapon.
  14. What I have found is that attaching anything over 10rds to a semi auto increases its sodium content (sodium being "a salt") Cali law might be unclear on this, as a 30rd would make it require a bullet button to use the mag! Federal 922r law says you must have 10 or less foreign parts if "non-sporting" and 30rd mags are non sporting. By attaching a 30rd mag in Cali, you require a bullet button. The same, attaching that to an import gun violates 922r. Double whammy!
  15. I believe that is in a 922r compliant, or pre 922r AK of which a stock saiga is not!
  16. Putting a high cap mag in an import weapon is federal law. You might want to contact an attorney about using a pre-ban mag in a semi auto weapon without a bullet button.
  17. I can get 5.56 on stripper clips in an ammo can for .45 a round and can reload for around half that, but storing that much ammo and packing that much ammo sucks. As well as I don't have three 5.56 rifles and a pistol like I have in .22. My children don't like shooting the saiga .223 and cannot hold it up. I have right at 6k rounds of .22lr after giving my father almost 3k at around .05 per round. It sucks! I'm trying to figure out a .223 pistol. Shooting the .223 in my mind still feels like shooting 5-10x the cost of .22lr though as I am not paying crazy prices.
  18. My vepr in 308 is ejecting so hard it looks like it wants to pull the rim off the case when it hits the ejector
  19. Meh those are easy to come by. I want a 30-06 saiga!
  20. Cool idea, I always wonder why someone couldn't make a set of pins that could just be hammered in and punched out? Maybe with a detent spring? Would save a lot of hassle to those unfamiliar for sure.
  21. Sgm makes a thick rubber pad You can even buy it from the forum store I think
  22. 12" barrel revolver!!!! Tec9 mac90 something fun to open carry? Double open carry cowboy style? Can you open carry an ak pistol?
