Yes, it's an ACE SOCOM stock mated to an ACE folder mechanism. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. My only source of aggravation is that the ACE Stock lacks a QD mount that I like so much on almost all my other rifles.

I'm fairly close to Philadelphia. I live in Valley TWP, north of Coatesville. I just converted the one on the bottom and would be happy to help you get yours done.

My handle is one I've used since '97. First name + Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Plus, it serves as a good reminder to the "IYAAYAS" types that God created all men equal except EOD Techs. -
LEO laid off!

Wow... it's almost as if they will now have to be released from captivity and nurtured back into productive society. A tax leecher's worst nightmare. -
Remember Pearl Harbor!

Remember the Alamo! Remember the Maine! Remember something to solidify support to wage war against some poor dumb sap also duped into violence by their government! -
Just an update. We took them to the range today and they both seem to run pretty good on the Federal Waly-loads. I am having a few random fail-to-feeds (first round only) when I charge the bolt. The bottom of the casing is snagging the lip of the chamber mouth. Should I dress this down a bit with a file to smooth out the feeding?

Man, I love that vented gas tube.

I am continuing to spread the Saiga addiction. My best friend liked my S-12 so much he decided to buy one for himself. I've spent enough time on this forum to know what's required to convert a S-12 so we decided to do it ourselves. We just finished her up today and thought I'd post some pictures of the girls. Here are the build specs: IZ-109 Tromix trigger guard (welded) (pin holes welded) SAW Grip DPH skeleton stock ACE folder Mechanism Tapco G2 kit Bolt/Carrier polished Tromix vertical charging handle Krebs sights Kross handguard JT Engineering Extended mag release Gas

Is there a QD attachment that will connect to my folding mech?

Please post the best price you find. I'd like something like this too for my S-12. -
Thanks Greg. The compliment means a lot coming from you. Esteban did the conversion and I've been tweeking it ever since.

Both me and a friend who also has a S-12 are constantly amazed at how fast packages arrive here from CSS. I mean, like 2 days tops and I have what I ordered. I don't know how he does it, but it certainly keeps me coming back!

And a gratuitus shot of my girl.

Are there instructions out there that explain what you have to do to get the surefires to work in an AGP magwell? I just recently bought a surefire mag and am much more impressed with it than the stack of AGP's I've got. But, I've already fitted an AGP magwell to my gun.
-
My question is why does JT Engineering make a Surefire magwell if the AGP magwell works with both AGP and Surefire mags??? Why have two types?
-
Yup, I checked... they are out of stock. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes peeled. It's not a big deal... just thought it'd be a nice touch.

I love the way my HK sights look, but if I had to do it all over again I'd go with the Krebs.

With all respect for Mike, I have a feeling it may be a while before we see a grip form him. Seems he's got his hands full with other projects. Any ideas?
-
Works like a champ for me, as is. Course... I'm a lefty.

Is there a domestic source for that sweet Russian pistol grip? I'd like to ditch the Tapco Saw grip in favor of something a little nicer. Thanks!
