  1. Correct. ETA: Not that I'm "the authority" on Saiga's . . . But you are correct.
  2. I don't know if I missed other posts, or blocked them from my memory due to the obvious fact that this shotgun is so horribly ugly (maybe an opinion) and unnecessary (not an opinion) . . .
  3. You should be fine. Just don't try to cover that hole with a finger. Mine is like that and after over at least 400-500 rounds I have not had an issue with it. It has never burned myself nor anyone else that has shot it. ETA: I would not be worried.
  4. I think that's pretty much on topic. Why does the IRS NEED these shotguns . ? . ? For taking their our property! Or rather to shoot us when we refuse to give up their our property . . . Either way, it's not good.
  5. And that happens because of dumb-ass liberal judges. Aren't judges either elected or appointed by elected officials, depending on the type of judge? If judges would have thrown out all those bullshit cases to begin with, we wouldn't be where we are now, having to somehow deal with the fact that people are too law suit happy. The courts could be spending their time on more important issues, like, actual crimes.
  6. Bullshit! Absolute bullshit! When I read shit like this it just reminds me of how this country is, at the rate it's been going for several decades now, headed down hill towards a slow, painful, horrible demise. Look at how our elected officials have allowed our children's "educators" to treat our children. And even the good students, no less!
  7. +1 How big is an "Atomic Fireball"? Yes, I thought Jawbreakers would make a nice solid projectile. I think Atomic Fireballs are gum and I don't know about the ramifications of trying to send hot gum through the barrel. And yes, I was drinking! Maybe even Rock candy in the spirit of Rock salt? Nope, jawbreakers. Made by Ferrara Pan. Hot and hard . . .
  8. . . . This will end well . . . What a dick . . . Anyway, funshootin1, I just saw this, so far so good. Keep the pics coming.
  9. is now a lifetime member the NRA!

  11. Yes, definitely use a template of some sort. I just draw on mine with a pencil. Good luck.
  12. Oh so badly I can't even tell you.... unfortunately I can only own an AOW in Michigan or a machine gun but no SBR/SBSs or silencers (BOOOOO!). So I am thinking/dreaming/wanting that a Saiga 12 AOW may be in order. Oh shit, sorry man. I didn't realize that. I'm just familiar with Texas' and surrounding states gun laws. I second the Draco pistol, I like mine. But I am going to SBR it . . . (sorry again)
  13. I drilled holes for each slot with a drill and "connected" them with the Dremel cut off wheel. It worked fine for me the couple of times I did it. And wear safety glasses. The cut off wheel can get stuck in the plastic, shatter and send pieces of it flying at very high speeds. I think I recall someone around here catching a piece of a wheel in his forehead! ETA: I use a tungsten carbide cutter for final shaping and I guess you could use sand paper for final smoothing. It looks fine to me with just the carbide cutter though.
  14. I was looking at Benelli's when I found the S-12. I've never looked at a Benelli since.
  15. That IS cool as hell Jeaux! But, I don't think I really need one. If I change my mind though, I'll give you a shout.
  16. Well Jeaux, I've got to put the 10" off for now, I'm still looking for a TROMIX surf board to ride while I'm shooting my Micro 7.62 . . .
  17. ..........and the 10" is juuuuussssssst right !! Manueuverable and out of your face !! You know, I have thought about cutting my 12" down to 10" to have an approximate overall barrel length (with muzzle attachment) of 12", like yours with a muzzle attachment, for additional maneuverability. But now I'm of the mind to do a little testing with my 8" and a flash suppressor, which brings the approximate overall barrel length to about 10", the length of yours (w/o a muzzle attachment) but with a shorter HG. And if that works out well, running my 12" with no muzzle attachment, which would be
  18. Difference in recoil? I don't think so. But the 8" is just more "in your face" when you shoot it, due to the shorter barrel, so unless you are pretty use to it I would imagine that it could affect your target acquisition time. But once you get used to it, no problem.
