  1. Use a single hook trigger and the L-shaped spring. if you keep the russian stock add the tapco full length stainless steel gas piston to meet 922r.
  2. Try and contact them for sure first before you write that option off http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=23769&hl= Yeah, we wanted to sell guns already converted, so your only wait time is shipping. But is seem like that is not how saiga sales are done. So I now I do work on customer guns. detail can be found in under our thread in the business forum. we stock tapco stocks and fire control groups and use Ergo Grips if you want something we dont stock, just send it with the gun and I'll install it. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=201111
  3. The highest risk is if you own a gun store or factory which gets inspected BATF regularly. they do check. For the non business type, your risk is if you sell it to a buddy who gets pissed at you and calls in a complaint to the BATF.
  4. Oooo, you just started and you're taking shots at Tromix? no no no no no, I am not take a shot at tromix, every one is back logged try ordering a s12 anywhere I just want everyone armed be for the end comes in november
  5. Come on man you're breaking my balls. Just joking. hey, If he goes with you, let me know so I don't hold his spot. Also, lets swap FFLs, so when I get back logged I can farm work out to you. I rather share the wealth than have a two year back log. Thanks, Leo
  6. Yeah, I got time in my shop just let me know what you want done.
  7. There are a lot of things that affect accuracy of a rifle. Length is just one. you should pick the one you like best aesthetically.
  8. You want to take three shots from a book depository building? My Great Grand father served in the Italian military either in the end of WWI or the beginning of WWII. It's just one of those thing where as I get older I like to have things of meaning. My father collected guns for years but nothing of any real importance. I'm gonna look through some old letters at my Grandmothers house this weekend and try to find out exactly when he served. Based on those dates I'd like to get a rifle from either that year, or year before. I know there is greater than 99.9% chance of me not getting his actua
  9. sand blasting is just faster than sanding by hand. be sure to degrease and bake it to clean off any oil from your hands. good luck with your finish
  10. just match the bit to the pin you punched out.
  11. You want to take three shots from a book depository building?
  12. yeah, I should have said brass hammer. If it bothers you, and you can return the gun, return it. but it is fairly common. when we get a gun that is painfully off we use it for prototyping something new, and then we true them up and them discounted as factory seconds locally. there is always people looking for a bargain.
  13. yeah it looks off. I would check one more time with a level on the front sight and a level on the leaf sight. then I would tap out the pins holding the site, use a brass to tap the sight to 90, fill the pin holes with silver solder, drill and put the pins back.
  14. taps are brittle, take a punch & hammer and strike it. is should shatter, then get a new tap and continue threading
  15. ....but only if they're designed after the real mccoy. The one pictured is only good for a 922r satisfying muzzle device (although I guess it would add some weight to the front of the rifle). A 'real' AK74 brake has an expansion chamber and staggered ports around the circumference. The above item only resembles a "real" Ak74 brake, with a very small percentage of the function of an actual '74 brake. It is also smaller than the actual AK74 brake. Actual AK74 brakes. Muzzle adapters are used to attach these to 14x1LH threads. These adapters are sold alongside the correct US mad
  16. can you re-phrase the question. I am not sure what you are asking.
  17. I don't know? your best bet will be to ask krebs.
