Slings for Saigas

Does anyone know where to get a sling for a Saiga. The slot is so small I can not find one that fits. Thanks for your help guys, Bud

For now i'm using the chinese sling that has the leather tabs for attaching.

I like tha military sling better but this works for now.

I have been looking myself . Here is a pretty good selection and price not bad. I have ordered from them before Ok. A little slow shipping

Use an SKS sling. Or change the swivels to gun show QD studs, and use whatever you want.

I got a 1" wide black nylon one from a local sporting goods place. Walmart usually carries the same brand.

This place has some killer slings and good prices and shipping.They come from Isreal.I ordered one for my Galil thats being built.Seems like a good company,not sure how long it will take to get (someone said 7-12 days?) $5.00 airmail.

Why not make you own? I made about 6 tactical slings myself from these plans and they work great!! I went to the local Army Surplus store and bought buckles and webbing. I also ordered some cool webbing from Strapon.com.

Shop around @ thrift store for used briefcases and luggage.Their leather,webbed or faux leather straps are sturdy,most have heavy duty metal or plastic snap swivels and are cheap.In Texas, we have Goodwill Industries and whenever I get a new/used rifle, I go to Goodwill and pick out a "sling" for it. Avg price is $4.00, AND you get a decent used piece of luggage or briefcase as well.
