Can I make my own 10 round mag?

Recommended Posts

I want my Saiga-12 has more than 10 shells too. Seems no rational way to make something with magazines. I'm concordant to Memphis, glued 5rd mags will look stupid. Moreover, any 10 or more rounds mag will look too big, too long. I think it would be better to think out something with cartridge-clip or drum. Simplest way to make it is to convert a cartridge-clip from other gun of 12 gauge. Just find appropriate.

I will try to make them out of sheetmetal. Whats my limit on capacity?

If that goes well I will look into making them out of aluminum.

capacity ? I'd say about 10 rounds for a stick mag because of length, figure 20 to 25 rds for a drum more than that and I'd think it would get to heavy.

I'd avoid aluminum , difficult to work with for the most part and not too durable in this application IMHO.

I'm waiting for these jackass socialists to reclassify the Saiga.

We have got to get the Nazi coined "Sporting Purposes" language out of the laws.

We are at a critical time, one or two more hard left administrations, and we've had it. We need to strike while the irons hot.

We should be going after NFA reform. At the very least suppressors should be AOW's with a $5 transfer. Better yet anything thats not select fire should be $5.

That would put them on the defensive. Weve got to look at gaining ground, not just holding ground.

I saw some legislature once that proposed removing the Sporting Purposes language. I think it was to be replaced with "Illegal" [firearms].

Anyone got this, or remember where it is?

Also theres a 2nd Ammendment caucus, (youve probably already heard about it), I wonder what there doing these days.

I agree. It's time to go on the offensive. We should circulate some internet polls to see which of several various pro-gun measures we could most likely pass in the coming year. Then we fight tooth, claw, blade and bullet for that passage.

NFA reforms, like lowering the tax, or removing the CLEO signoff, for one.

Disposition and demilitarizing of surplus military M-14s

Forcing the ATF to allocate budget to the rights restoration process.

CCW reciprocity / Full Faith and Credit ("Your state doesn't have to grant CCWs, but you must give Full Faith and Credit to the lisences of other states!")

Reduced (Small Business) Tax for Class 2 manufacturing.

The recognition of the 2nd Amendment as an individual right.

The formal recognition of self-defense as a legitimate use and reason to own a firearm (to my knowledge, there's no federal law that explicitly states: All citizens have the right to own arms for the purpose of self-defense. The 2A says as much, but it helps to put something in modern language so that anti-gunners can't Newspeak their way out of it!)

Think over these issues. It's time we went on the offensive!
