This has been in the works for a couple of years now. Bob Ash and Joe both saw the failed #1 prototype, but this baby looks like it's going to work. It sports a heavy .910" diameter Pac-Nor Stainless Super Match Bull barrel, which is completely free floating. The gas system is a two piece affair with the gas tube assembly is affixed to the receiver with floating "puck" type gas piston. The hand guards are also affixed to the receiver and completely free floating. The barrel is 19 inches long and threaded 3/4-24 with a custom Tromix front sight and flash hider.

I will be shooting it shortly.

I was wondering when this was coming out. I've been waiting to see what was in the works since Tony hinted at this a few months back.

A quality heavy barrel on a well built milled receiver AK will certainly change some minds about AK accuracy. Wonderful achievement!
These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country. But he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of men and women. And we will hold that line, no matter the cost. - John Sheridan, 2259

They Invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. The line must be drawn here, now! This time they will go no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done. - Jean Luc Picard, 2376

You can buy a lot of Form 1's for the price of a basic criminal defense. Roughly one or two tax stamps per hour for a competent criminal defense lawyer.

Just ordered my .223 from "Stanley’s Pro Shop"
This idea really intrigues me!
Another Great Tromix concept.
What can't they do?
When can we see some video of this gun in action?
