If that's a price for a complete bolt carrier, piston, and cover made completely in the US, then it's not horrible. One step closer to an American AK.

 

BUT there's a reason reciprocating charging handles are on the right and only non-reciprocating handles are on the left. They failed to mention that using this bolt carrier rules out the use of the receiver scope rail.

Yes, and a less important detail: there's no dust cover for the left side.

I DID contact them and the parts are NOT made nor marked in the USA. They are modified original parts.

What about this option from Cadiz (VanKiller) which IS removable and would allow for a receiver side mounted scope if desired.
