My 410 was leaning against the wall and fell over on a carpeted floor and the damned thing broke. I called them up and they already sent me 2 replacement pins free. Cheap products but great service. If your on the range and that little hula mama gets good and gassed up she's gonna start dancin her ass off. Just the wiggle in her shnizzle is probly enough to break that POS plastic pin. I thought about just cutting the head off a bolt and grinding it down but I didn't have a way to make the slot for the e clip. I guess someone could do that with a dremmel and cutting wheel. I did enjoy calling them up and giving them shit though about my $50 stock breaking all by itself with no one even in the room! I got two pins and a catalog express mailed a couple of days later. At the end of my first long post on this thread, several pages ago, I observed to the effect that while every message here is related in that it is a natural derivation of the original thread topic, it seems to be getting further off topic. I suggested back then that there be created some sort of a political or general non-technical issues-discussion area where we could take up matters of this nature when they veered off the original thread topic. Hell, we've got a joke section (and I like that)! Most other moderated forums, like ak47.net, have these "political discussion" areas because they realize how important that is. I hope to god I didn't start a PM war! LOL You both had some good points and if it had not turned into a flamewar maybe something good could have come out of it. I think it would be a good idea to add a section in the forum for calm discussion of gun law issues and govt. policy. There also needs to be a section for "When Good Threads Go Bad" so people can talk shit till their hearts content when they get mad about something. one of the other Gun Boards has this. It's called "Road House" I believe and it's strictly enter at your own risk just like some of these honkytonks out in the country. Fight to get in and fight to get out!
