I know that long ass mag hangin down looks cool but there really aint thet much difference between 6 and 9 rounds. I'll just put one in the chamber before inserting the mag. Wolverine 10,360 Posted March 29, 2005 Report Share Posted March 29, 2005 Well, given RAA is new to this and has no known experience and no real connections to grease the wheels in expediting their license, and the fact the gov't is in no hurry to approve another importation source of inexpensive foreign semi auto weapons with great firepower capability, I would estimate next January or God knows when. The great downfall of the Saiga and the Russians is no service or parts for what is sold. Worse still is that they either can't do anything about it or don't give a shi"p". Sorry to say but this detracts from the Saiga's overall value. I say this as an owner of four of the rifles. It's a real shame given the quality of the guns. Demand + Scarcity = High Prices. So, if you want the gun or mag bad enough the price will be high as long as there is the continuing demand. Do you ever wonder if the Russians were just dumping the rifles?
